Very beautiful hotel with all the comforts. The views were superb. The breakfast was fresh and staff were very efficient and took all the care to make us feel at home. Best place to stay in Zermatt.

Amazing hotel
A truly wonderful and well thought out hotel. Lots of little touches- a backpack to be borrowed, a welcome card, a stocked and included minibar, and an excellent breakfast. It seems the Julen family are amazinf hotelliers. Thanks for a great stay!

AMAZING! From the staff to the room and the food everything here is top notch! All staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a 5 star experience. Shout out to Alie the bartender! Such a great guy, and always smiling. Make sure you relax in the bar and have a chat with him. Great location with walking distance to everything or jump on the electric bikes that are provided and ride up all the trails around the area. Make sure to ride to the base of the Matterhorn. Our room had a view of the Matterhorn which was spectacular. Breakfast is delicious with so many options and dinner was wonderful. I wish I could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back and HIGHLY recommend!

Excellent property that is extremely well run. The staff are incredibly friendly and the hotel is very well maintained. The buffet breakfast is excellent as is the pool and spa. Clearly, the leadership comes from the top and the owners should be very happy with what they’ve created.

Excellent in every way! You can’t go wrong! Great pool, hot tub, trampoline, cigar bar, spa, salad bar, breakfast buffet, service from front desk, etc! And on top of all of that great views and friendly staff. I did not want to leave!

We enjoyed this property so much that it made us sad we only had one night in Zermatt. The lobby, restaurant and room were all very nice. It is also family run and you can see the whole family working there. Highly recommend.

Good choice for your time in Zermatt. Hotel has great facilities and food/drink options (pool, bar, breakfast). They were a 5 min walk from the train which is just enough to get you out of the action to ensure quiet.

Excellent treatment by staff and superb facilities. Hotel is a little far from rail station, so walking with suitcases may be challenging for some, but hotel offers complimentary transportation to and from rail station.

The property was very nice. Clean and comfortable. The staff were are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of amenities. The pool and pool area...very nice! However the sauna and hot tub are does not open until 10:00 a.m. 👍👍 half Moon Bay CA.

Our expectations were exceeded! Beautiful rooms and views! Staff was helpful all along our journey - when we were delayed in our arrival we were able to communicate well by phone, arrival was seamless, baggage from the train straight to our room. After our day on the mountain we came back to change in the changing room, relax and discovered more possibilities for next time - like the outdoor jacuzzi! Terrific place to stay!

Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Worth every penny. The room was cozy and luxurious with a bathtub in the center! The lobby, piano bar and spa area were all beautiful. The hotel owns several local restaurants- Highly recommend Julen! The hotel breakfast is huge and has many cheeses, yogurts and jams from the hotel owners farm.

Sauna perfection.
Great hotel, good service and well placed for the main ski lift. The highlight for us was the extraordinary sauna , made of solid timber tree trunks, accessed through the snowy outdoor hot tub area. Sublime

Wonderful!!!
Amazing hotel, combining old Swiss style with modern design. Spacious rooms, well designed. Only problem was with the toilet - glass doors with no sound isolation… not great option if you’re not traveling solo. Great lobby and bar, stunning restaurant with delicious food. Spa very nice, although outdoor pool could be linked to indoor instead of running outside in just the swimsuit.

Great arrangement for ski
Room has balcony, comfortable Lobby, walking distance to the lift station ( sunny side), nice pool, inside and outside sauna, inside and outside jacuzzi, good food, cigar lounge, ice skating ring, afternoon tee, and most of all very friendly personal. We are very pleased with our stay. Tried some of the restaurants in town: Spycher ( best ambiance), Excelsior (best food) and Guiseppe (most positiv vipe) we can recommend.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is very central and near to stations and ski facilities. The room was nice and clean, great view, good food. Highly recommended.
