there was no pool at all. No gym. And the breakfast was terrible. Acon tast d like plastic and there was not a lot of options.

Will not go back to this hotel.
The service is really poor all around the hotel, the room has dirty especially the washroom and bathtub. The bathtub had residue in it so my wife and kids was not able to take a bath. So the next morning I asked the front desk to come clean the room and washroom only the room was clean and not the washroom NOT COOL. The room had a old carpet smell. The breafast egg wow really watering and not cook. Oh yes one more, the door C to access to our room To bring all our luggage in on a raining day not fun to walk in and there was about 10 inches of water to walk through to bring all my things inside the hotel. So I asked the front count to see if there was another way to go through all of this and she told me no and they were is no service for help as well. This was one of the worst service hotel ever been to and specially for a big location like yours service should be way better.

It is old and very dated, in need of major renewal and renovations. Picture is from far of property and does not reflect state or condition. Beach has no activities or amenities. Staff only spoke French.

Room comes with WIFI that we never were able to have access to. Bathroom was not clean under toilet seat and the carpeting of the room was so dirty that our feet turned green from it's color. Room door seemed to have taken a beating.

Okay ,not sure i would stay here again!
The rooms were very clean ! The Hotel itself was very run down .The front desk people were very slow and confusing. Extremely difficult to through all the hall ways and there are a lot of steep stairs . With children it is difficult and with older people with difficulties walking as well. The swimming pool was nice but there is grim stuck all around the walls like in a dirty bathtub. There were a lot of people in the pool and the life guard disappeared for like almost half an hour to get herself a drink.I did not see very much security around. Actually there was nobody around that you could ask directions to a part from the two ladies at the front desk.It is too bad because this hotel is in a beautiful location but it needs a lot of TLC.

The menu is unimpressive, the food was mediocre at best but the service was great...Sam was awesome! Having no fridge in the room was an unwelcome surprise. We’d still go back though.

Old & Rustic ...needs a makeover
While the location is absolutely fabulous, The room is old and smells musty, Air conditioning is switched off at night, very noisy when it works, Ice make never works, TV is out of shape and many other little things that make you wonder, why do they not renovate. The hotel is in a real need for renovation. Not going back...

MUSTY IF YOU HAVE A FOOT SMELL FETISH. it is great
OLD ND OUTDATED, ice machine don't work and the one which do can't keep up. Fridge in room is for looks only, doesn't work. beds and mattresses are old and springy. the Air condition does not work right, maybe it was hot outside that day. wait. A/C is for hot days right??? Staff are friendly but the place is good just to lay down and fall asleep for a few hours after a long trip.

Very nice staff but needs urgent reno and upgrades
This hotel requires a much needed upgrade and renovation. The furnature, although clean, is old and run down. You see this throughout the establishmant. You can have a conversation with the guests in the next room through the wall! The staff is great. The choice of cable channels is limited and should be improved. The Hotel does have charm but it must leave the 60's.

Know what to expect
Positive: friendly staff, amazing scenery, affordable rates. Negative: old building, rooms very poorly sound proofed, could hear everyone passing by in the hallway as if they are in the same room. Also could hear the hallway Christmas music all night long! Heaters in rooms are inconsistent, we had several rooms and some of them were always cold, other too hot, and it's not a setting issue. Beds are not that confortable, and we also had an accident with one of the beds as the base was not properly alligned and a peice of metal was sticking out but covered by the sheets.

Nice hotel in a beautiful area.
We came here for my wife's 60 birthday. Nice hotel in a beautiful area. We had a problem with checkin they could not find our reservation which was prepaid. I did have a printout of my confirmation so they did give us a room. Second problem is the matresses. They are old or very cheap. We could feel the metal coils. Both beds had the same issue. Had use the blanket from the other bed under us. That worked. Maybe it was just our room 2401? The rest of the room was very good. Hotel has excellant rustic interior. We liked it. H.M.

Worst experience ever in a hotel
We arrived there and found 3 mariages and a shower being celebrated. That was ok. BUT there has been many people who were still partying, talking loudly, laughing. walking around ALL night long up to 5ham, music was playing too past 3ham. Hot faucet of the sink was broken, air conditioner was noisy. We couldn,t sleep at all. I wrote a letter of complaint. I felt swindled.

Old Section
we got a room in the Old section of the hotel. This section needs major renovation and should not be offered since it is not an acceptable room. The newer section is much better.

Lovely area, lake & grounds. However there were differences than from the website. Such as elevators for guests. Our room was not modern. We did enjoy the balcony. Ice machine non functional. Please update the information binders in the room to reflect present time services. We were delighted at the thought of enjoying the Saturday night buffet only to arrive downstairs & be told its no longer offered. Also please advise your guests if they want to use the pool & sauna on a Sunday afternoon that its closed between 2 - 4 pm. We wanted to go in at 245 pm but it was closed. Finally please mention that guests with mobility issues might find going down to the beach & pool difficult. Over all we enjoyed our time & would come back again.

We stay there every year for 3 nights. Although the place is rather run down, always enjoy swimming in the beautiful lake. One suggestion, it would be nothing for the lifeguard to rake the weeds off the beach instead of just sitting - would definitely improve the look of the area and at no cost to the hotel. Restaurant meal was good and service pleasant. Room comfortable and clean. Will go back yet again, next year! Love the walk around the lake and to the stables. Ste Adele has great restaurants too!

DONT GO THERE! Worst Hotel ever...
This was one of the worst hotels I have ever been in! The outside looks nice, the inside is straight chalet from the 1970's.... The hotel needs love, its really outdated. The room was filthy , there was dust all over the room, the carpets were stained from I dont know what?? The beds were unconfertable... there was a wedding downstairs and we could hear the music until 3AM!!! I had a hard time sleeping because of it. the walls are made out of papers, you could basically hear everything in the hall and next door... The service desk employees seemed to be bothered everytime you had a question and the breakfast buffet at 15$ was disgusting... eggs tasted like fish, plain potatoes ... I couldnt wait to go back home! I do not suggest anyone to go there... only upside, great location, outside is amazing with the view and the lake but that is not worth the price they charge! this was a HUGE waste of money!!! :( REally disapointed!

Wonderful except I don't like pool policies during the week. If beach is closed or it's raining we hate to wait till 5pm to open the pool.

Great location, close to everything.
I have been going to the hotel for 4-5 years now and every year it seems to decline. The room this year was very outdated and somewhat clean. The pool could have been cleaner and many of the previously available facilities (spa & massage place and arcade room) were no longer available or existent. The buffet style breakfast has been reduced in quantity over the years. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Missing a little love
It's too bad that everything is falling apart, this hotel was awesome in the past. This hotel needs a major face lift but keep the cozy old fashioned look. These old places need a lot of love but is worth every penny in the end. I sent my wife to go rest, and rest she did because their is nothing to do except the pool and spas even that the water in the pool was a yellowish color , I guess it had a overdose of chlorine. Staff was polite, and did what they could to please, restaurant the Namos was great, food and service excellent. If you want to go down town, well a lot of things are closed because of the lack of tourists. According to the staff summer it is the place to be, but for winter well, unless activities are created or the ski hill is re-opened on the hotel side not much to do. They do have a skating rink on the lake but was closed because Mother nature had issues. You can go horse riding if you want at a cost of 35$.
