"A little gem"
Me and my husband stayed here onnour honeymoon and absolutely loved it. Not only the hotel but all of the surroundings. I had contacted the hotel the day before our visit and hadn't even booked the hotel. They were very quick to reply with all the information i needed as we were travelling without a car. From the emails prior to booking, the transfers to the hotel, the hotel itself and all the reccomendations on places to see and and things to do this place was amazing. Highly reccomended. They even organised a dinner reservation and transfers to a nearby winery in san gimignamo. Definately worth a visit! Hotel has a wonderful view, breakfast daily and a very tasty dinner. This place is a little GEM ontop on the hill! We will definately return to stay here again.

"Brilliant hotel"
Had a wonderful 5 nights at this hotel. Clean, high quality, relaxing. Lovely outdoor pool. Brilliant breakfast with breathtaking views over the Tuscan countryside. Eating lunch / dinner in the hotel, and drinks, all reasonably priced. Staff very helpful and welcoming to our 3yr old daughter. Car needed to get into San Gimignano.

"Nice hotel close, great location"
Hotel was very nice, we had a beautiful view from our room which was quite spacious. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the hotel and the breakfast was very very good. This is a great spot to stay just outside the city of San Gimignano. Would recommend.

Pocket Guide: Val d'Elsa, Siena Business Hotels

The River Elsa cuts northwards from its source in the hills west of Siena before joining the Arno. Colle di Val d’Elsa is the main centre along its Sienese upper reaches, noted for its glass industry. Some 95 percent of Italy’s lead crystal hails from here, and the lower town is crammed with shops selling its wares. The upper town is set along a winding ridge, and full of historic interest. Several museums showcase Etruscan and Sienese art.
