We stayed at Montaneros for a quick, quiet off-season getaway. My kids loved the heated pool, and enough shops and restaurants were open so it didn’t feel completely off-season. Not sure what it’s like during ski season, but a very pleasant fall location

The property is very convenient to everything in Lionshead and the unit was very comfortable. The only drawback is that bedroom windows face elevator and walkways and can be noisy at night.

Fantastic location!! Staff was wonderful and the room was so cozy. Our favorite part was the fireplace which is perfect after a day of skiing. Can't wait to come back!!

Overpriced for what you get but good location
Our toilet seat was not properly cleaned (old urine stains on the edge of the bowl). Most outlets need to be replaced - you plug something in and it simply falls right out. Toiletries could be better - would appreciate real soap like most hotels now offer. Outdated furniture, not a huge deal but you are paying premium prices. Staff was very friendly and good location.

The guys at the front desk were the most pleasant and helpful people I meet in Vail. As an example. After we checked out Jeff took my son's Nintendo Switch and watched it as charged it up for us behind the desk while we went to eat. That in and of itself wasn’t a huge deal but just the way Jeff answered every question and helped with stuff while being so pleasant just made my stay very comfortable.

Positives are great location in Lionshead square; clean condo and free basement garage parking. However, the condo was quite dated; did not have AC and it was really hot at the time we visited with day time temps close to 90 degrees. The windows of the bedrooms opened to public hallways so we couldn't really keep them open for fresh air. The place was next to another condo that was being renovated so we heard loud drilling and banging most of the days we were there which was very disturbing for my husband who was working remotely. We were not even warned about this when we checked in. Overall, we did not enjoy the stay and would not revist.

Great location in the middle of Lionshead. Very convenient to everything. Unfortunately the rooms are not air conditioned and we stayed during a very hot week.

Great home base in Vail
Great location with spacious units and a terrific pool. The kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes, pans, utensils we needed for our family of four and there was even a BBQ on the deck. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome location! Our unit had brand new appliances and have beautiful views! We would most definitely stay here again whenever we return to Vail. Highly recommend!

Great time
Great time here. Clean and friendly staff. Located in Lionshead Village which seems a bit quieter end of Vail. Still has some close by shops and restaurants, however perhaps a little more limited compared to Vail Village. About a mile (15 min walk) to main village with more choices if desired. No complaints other than the bed may need a new mattress soon (fairly noticeable indentations).
