"Max70 was like a nice Hampton Inn (Hilton chain) hotel: clean, comfortable with some nice extras and convenient to downtown Salzburg as well as Schlöss Hellbrunn and Schlöss Leopoldskroner. By “convenient” I mean 20 minutes by bus or 35 minutes walk. The extras we appreciated were the clothes racks for drying clothing as well as the chocolates left with our personal glasses. The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and offering to make coffee (since there was no coffee in the room - the one possible negative for coffee lovers)."

"The hotel and the staff are really helpful! Airconditioner is a plus. Very easy to go to old town since the tram stop is literally 1 minute from the hotel. Room is big but the sofa bed is a bit run down. Over all, we had a nice stay!"

"The room was very nice, clean, comfortable beds and we had everything we needed. The staff was very helpful and helped get a bus pass for us and we were able to get around pretty easily on the bus. Breakfast was very good and the morning we left they fixed a breakfast to go for us."

"Quick stop-off on long commute to Amsterdam with family. Food / lodging decent price - rooms where spacious and modern ( there are two parts to the hotel new and old ) . Food was great lots of what I imagine are traditional Bavarian dishes"

"A very lovely place for a quick rest during a hectic travel itinerary. The lake is gorgeous and being able to go for a swim was a welcome reprieve from the heat. One note - the rooms do not have air conditioning. We happened to be there during an extremely hot time. We were provided with a good fan, which helped a lot. I'm certain that AC is unnecessary 90% of the time, we just happened to be there when it would have made a big difference in the overall comfort."
