The surroundings were quite noisy with cocks and other birds starting early. Also workmen nearby and everyone mowing lawns and cutting hedges. Possibly just the time of the year. Provided this is not a problem for you, then I would highly recommend this property. Well positioned for visiting nearby towns - Bayonne was particularly intetesting. The garden was great for the dogs but walking from the house was limited. ##### Alison J. For example the pillows were lumpy and smelled, the bed was worn, the sofa was uncomfortable, the chairs were worn, and some of the cupboards and drawers were filled with a jumble of stuff. We were also charged 100€ to have our dog with us. We stayed for four nights. That's 25€ a night. We have stayed in many properties with her and have never been charged that much, even in a five star hotel where they provided her with a bed, bowls and treats! La maison de Nicole y a bien contribué : la maison est très bien située, proche des plus beaux villages et villes du PB. Le jardin est grand et la vue y est superbe.
