The only hot option was biscuits and gravy and the biscuits where rock hard. The hot tub was out of order. The picture for the pool and hot tub online must have been taken about 5-10 years ago and does not represent the current state it is in. The pictures of the rooms also look much nicer than what they are, hotel is very patched together/ older and could use a quick paint job in alot of locations.The room and hotel were on the dirtier side. The floor in our room wasn't swept, there was hair in the whirl pool and shower and there was garbage and items left in the cupboards and drawers form the last person. The bed/ bedding and towels were clean though." We watched the snowfall (and deer) from the big living room windows, cooked meals, played games, watched movies and of course enjoyed the incredible spa experience the bathroom provides. I am so appreciative of vacation rentals that are well equipped: you will have plenty of towels, basic toiletries, cookware and dining essentials, pillows, blankets, etc. Iron Mountain has several good dining options as well as coffee spots and well-stocked grocery stores and there are lots of outdoorsy activities year-round. We really need to return during warmer weather to take advantage of the lake!"
