"Nice hotel and property. Restaurant was fine, but nothing extraordinary. Given how our climate is developing, it is in my view no longer acceptable to offer hotel rooms and facilities that do not have airconditioning - certainly not for a hotel that strives to operate at this level."

"This was my first time staying alone in a hotel in Europe, so I needed some help understanding the lights, which the staff was very willing to explain. I returned at 4am from an event, and felt very safe as I figured out how to use my card to enter the hotel, which was wonderful....I asked for the room to be cleaned the next day on my way out, and forgot all about it until I returned, and my room was immaculate. I asked for a fan in my room, it appeared. Everything about my stay, from Lara at the reception desk to whomever cleaned my room, was wonderful, and I would highly recommend Ibis Hotel to anyone staying in Trier."

"Good location close to town centre, with nice view of the Roman gate. Quite dated throughout, average breakfast, no fridge, the safe didn’t work. Helpful staff gave me good parking space."

"The hotel was very clean and plenty of paid parking. We didn’t have breakfast. Our main issue was the location which was further from the centre than we anticipated . It was a good 20-25 minute walk for us . Not normally a problem but with the heat this week we found it a difficult walk . We did however really relish the air con. Good supermarket a few minutes walk away"

"We zijn hier een week verbleven en vonden het een heel nette en volledig ingericht verblijf. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het appartement is op het gelijksvloer dus gemakkelijk toegankelijk en is zeker ruim genoeg. Het ligt iets buiten de stad Trier maar zeker niet te ver. Voor mensen met een fiets, een stevige bergop moet je wel aankunnen. Jammer genoeg hebben we geen contact gehad met de verhuurders, maar dit is een detail.Wat ons betreft zeker een aanrader !!!!"
