Great place to stop if you need a break from the I-79. Family run and very accommodating. Quiet, adequate rooms that have been recently remodelled, Grab and go continental breakfast. Good value as a stopover spot.

A mediocre place at a lowish price
The properly is kind of outdated. While the room was otherwise clean, there was a dirty washcloth under the bathroom vanity and the base of the toilet was not clean. The hallway had a perfumed smell. We set the heater at 68, but the room was still uncomfortably warm (November). In short, it's a Super 8. I think other people rate it higher because of the lower price. But it's mediocre at best.

This property suited our needs. It was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. It is not as modern and does not have amenities as some other hotels but we were just sleeping there so it was perfect for us.

Even with a reservation, it took the man checking me in 23 minutes to complete the task. If I would ask, "what is wrong" he'd say, "nothing..." and so I just literally stood there for an actual 23 minutes while he pecked away at his computer. The quality of the hotel itself is on par with an older Motel 6, but their price point would suggest something better. If you can save money at a cheaper hotel, you might as well. This is no upgrade.

Thanks Mark. Upon analysis, it seems the delay in checking in was due to attempting to move reservations so you would be given a lower floor room rather than a 3rd floor room due to high occupancy.I understand price seems to be important to you. Our automated pricing software takes many factors into account, however, sets rates at one of the lowest in the area. Seeing as you booked on the weekend of October 13th when there was a WVU event, prices are more inflated than usual. If I recall correctly, the closest Motel 6 you mentioned was priced anywhere from 150-200, along with many other budget properties such as Econolodge with far lower rated quality of stay than our property. However, if price point is not a concern, many mid-range properties in the area range anywhere from 250-500 on high occupancy event dates (upwards to 700). If you plan to be in the area any following weekends this year, if properties are not already sold out, I do see some vacancies for these properties at around 300-400 per night. (Oct 20-21, November 3,4)These may be more suitable options for you.Thank you.

Nice place to stay
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, had a nice tv, fridge and microwave, and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Bathroom needed minor fixes
Our bathroom left a little to be desired. The shower door wouldn't stay shut, it kept sliding open. Also, the sink was missing a stopper, so small things could fall down the drain. Those are minor and easy things I would think to fix with normal and routine maintenance.

The shower was not cleaned prior to us staying. Had a ton of long hair stuck on the wall. The shower floor had hair all over. You can tell the shower wall had crud on it where you can tell the walls were not cleaned. Wasn’t going to inspect what the ‘crud’ was on the walls. Was not impressed. Will not come back.

Location just off hwy, dining options close by. A clean (thankfully no carpets), no frills room, exactly what you need for an overnight halt. Sofa showed signs of wear, nbd. We got a ground floor room, but there is no elevator so you may have to walk up two floors.

Upon arrival to the Super 8, the receptionist was nice. The 2 rooms were a mixed array of windows without screens, heavily stained furnishings, smoke saturated, and an air conditioning display laying on a desk with a postit note beside it saying "Use This One" as the wall unit wasn't working. The "Continental breakfast" consisted of ONE wrapped danish laying since the night before on a rack, 3 small bottled waters in the fridge and cereal. Shower pressure was great. I'm giving up on Expedia as a trusted site for places to stay. They have become quite unreliable and need to take some responsibility in listing filthy, disappointing hotels that house the homeless (previous booking) and as well as Wyndham who have beautiful hotels except the ones on expedia!
