did not like the noise the union demonstrators made at the entrance of the hotel; however , the staff was there to see that we were comfortable and safe from any confrontations.

That’s the problem...there was nothing unique about this hotel. Nothing made it stand out. There is no reason to come back. The only good thing is the location but there are plenty of other hotels.

The staff are friendly but we were not inform that their is a strike outside the hotel.

I really like that the check in and check out was quick. No problems there. The location is ideal for anybody that likes to be close to shopping areas but the not good part about that is that theres a lot of homeless in that same area.

Notice that the employees were on strike for the last month. The chanting and drums at 7 in the morning was annoying

There was constant shouting and noise by hotel workers because of a labor strike going on. This was day and night, starting at 6:30 a.m. until late in the evening. For this reason, I had to cancel my stay the second night, and checked out on saturday, november 10th, and moved to another location. I trust that Expedia will reimburse me for the cancelled reservation corresponding to sunday, november 11th at this hotel, since Expedia indicated this when confirming my hotel reservation.

Loud striking workers 7am-10pm. No warning from hotel. Working staff were friendly, room cleanliness was fine and location was good.
