About this property

Opened Nov 2020. Designed for Serious Hunters, Fishermen and Nature Lovers.

Adults-only lodge in Tiptonville
Our objective is to provide the visitor wiith comfortable sleeping arrangements and a feeling as if they are an integrated part of our beautiful Reelfoot Lake. The owner/operators, Buck and Tom are available on short notice to address customer needs. We believe that you will find Bucks Bunkhouse a notch above all other vacation headquarters in this area.
As there is no other lake similar to the “Earthquake Lake, Albert Moore, a local artist, aided with the design of the Reelfoot Room by painting a mural that has many stories involved with life among the swamp critters. Mr. Moore also consulted with creating an overall feeling that places our visitors among the Reelfoot wildlife. The Reelfoot Room has become popular as the in-place where mature guests can relax with their friends as they enjoy a refreshment before turning in for the night. An option is to play a friendly game of Texas Hold’m on the Reelfoot Room game table. Dish TV is available. on the 70 inch TV. Privacy? There are 4 bedrooms with door locks. A kitchenette with stove/oven and a refrigerator.. 2 restrooms each with shower and vanity. Screen room room for the smokers and a place to hang your boots. A seperate Cook Shack with gas grill. A fire pit for those night time gatherings.. Pole barn with 2 bays covered and plenty of parking.
* Above ground Safe Shed storm Shelter available. Can share with up to 4 visitors.
Owners next door available to help make your stay a memorable experience.

For those unfamiliure with this area, Reelfoot Lake is located in the northwest corner of Tennessee and is noted for its unique beauty, fishing and wildlife viewing. The 15,000 acre lake was created by a series of violent earthquakes in 1811-1812 that caused the Mississippi River to flow backwards for a short period of time. This phenomena created Reelfoot Lake.
The park’s ecosystem is unlike any other place in Tennessee. Reelfoot Lake is a flooded forest. While Majestic Cypress trees rise above the water, below the surface are many submerged Cypress stumps. A variety of aquatic plants and flowers occupy the shoreline and saturate the shallow water. The lake harbors almost every kind of shore and wading bird. Ospreys, Golden and American Bald Eagles nest close bye. The Great American Pelican stops in to rest as it migrates on its way south and again on its return trip north.
When in the Reelfoot area a stay at Buck offers affordable accommodation’s that your group will enjoy. As we are not a motel or a motified house trailer; Bucks Bunkhouse can sleep a group of up to 9 visitors , each in their own (comfortable) bed.

Come stay with us and enjoy our beloved Reelfoot Lake.

Air-conditioned accommodation at this lodge offers coffee/tea makers. Kitchens or kitchenettes offer fridges, hobs, microwaves and separate dining areas. Bathrooms include a shower.

A nice comfy place with a wonderful property owner.
We came in for a long weekend of waterfowl hunting, Tom and Alan (father and son) made our stay very worthwhile. Each of them greeted us and made sure we knew all we needed for our stay.
