The cottage is several hundred years old and has been renovated and offers excellent accommodation for up to four people. Situated on the square in the heart of the village, next to the large parish church and local school and 50 paces from the award winning Bell Inn which has a reputation for good food and quality beer. There is a general store closeby. During the current Covid-19 crisis we have introduced additional practices after each stay to ensure our guests are as safe as possible, including cleaning and disinfecting all high-touch surfaces and cleaning floors, walls, blinds, and other low-touch surfaces with hot water and detergent. We have also provided our guests with Antibacterial wipes for hand and surface use, Tissues and toilet rolls, Antibacterial cleaners and Hand wash We have another cottage in a nearby village which may interest you, it has recently been completely refurbished . The view looking out of the cottage onto the square is quite charming with the Church at the top the Bell Inn at the bottom and beautiful cottages in between. There is also a fantastic village farm shop, tea shoppe and post office just around the corner which can supply all your needs. It was comfy and quiet. Unfortunately on the last night our car, with French registration, was scraped all along the side. Clearly, parking in a public square makes one more vulnerable to such incidents. In every other way the cottage was beautifully positioned close to the church, and not far from the pub and village shop. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Although we would recommend The Bell as the food was great and plentiful. Perfect for a couple or small family. The pub across the square is great too! Also, it made a great base for cycling- I rode almost 100 miles on beautiful roads in the area during our stay! ##### Scott S.
