The paper signs posted at entrance and exits were negative and set a poor tone. The property is 5 miles out of town. “Absolutely no early check-ins”. What were we supposed to do out there for 20-minutes? Hang out and stare at the desk clerk? So awkward!! This property is in Umatilla, not Hermiston btw.

We enjoyed our time at the quality inn, it was to bad they were remodeling the lounge, so we had to find a place in Hermiston to eat, which we were pleased with, breakfast was good, i have to give a shout out to joann the evening clerk, she was so friendly and helpful,, that i felt like i had made a friend. If traveling again id definitely rebook with them, and hopefully the lounge will be open.

Cons: you could tell the shower hadn't been cleaned so I was doubtful that much else had been cleaned or wiped down thoroughly, walls are SUPER thin so while there wasn't much noise being made I could still hear everything (people's tv, housekeeping every morning), I hated that the key card had to be swiped instead of tapped (super inconvenient as my hands were always full), there was like 4 channels that worked and the reception was terrible to say the least plus the volume had to be maxed out to hear over the heater which was extremely noisy, the heater blew cold air if set under 77 (didn't understand that). Pros: very spacious, breakfast was decent for the price, conveniently located by a market/gas station, extra counter space in the room where coffee/ice are set up, sofa chair was better than just having an office chair.
