Inaccurate Listing
This hotel is NOT in the centre, although that is what the listing says. It's about 5km away in the middle of nowhere. The only restaurants are several blocks away down a dark street. The name of the hotel has been changed. Staff couldn't find my reservation, so I ended up sitting on the sidewalk outside the hotel for about 45 minutes while it was sorted out. I was exhausted. There were no chairs in the lobby and they wouldn't give me a key to the room. At no time was there a hint of apology for the way I was treated. I was told by the owner that I should have known that the hotel wasn't in the centre because of the price and that it was not the business of the hotel to ensure that the listing was accurate. I would have happily paid more for a hotel that was properly listed and for staff that treated me with a bit of respect. The room itself was fine, but that did not make up for the service.
