"The Royal Palm was amazing and my family and I cannot wait to return. Amari was so helpful and so easy to contact via WhatsApp. Upon arrival she offered me a cold beer and created us with the cutest resident puppy named Mila. "This house was booked last minute for an improptu women's holiday because it was available and allowed a pet. The view of the lake is beautiful, but you can't get in and out to swim here. Many things were in disrepair like doors, windows, and screens. Linens, towels, water, toilet paper was not ready for us and had to be asked for and was stained and worn. "This was our second time staying at the property—our first visit was seven years ago. We returned because we had such a great experience the first time, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the new ownership has made significant improvements. The property now features a beautiful pool and a picturesque dock extending into the lagoon, complete with hammocks for relaxing. They also offer a boat tour of the lagoon, which was excellent. Our guide was fantastic, and even though we were running late, they kindly accommodated us with a later departure. We were celebrating our son’s 15th birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. They arranged for a cake, decorated his room, and even sang Happy Birthday. The food throughout our stay was delicious, and a highlight was the woman making fresh corn tortillas on-site, they were incredible."
