"We had a delightful stay at the Country Cottage in Spotswood over Easter weekend. The cottage was charming and thoughtfully decorated, with lots of little touches that made us feel welcome—like a lovely jar of preserves and fresh fruit and even Easter Eggs waiting for us. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee and tea, and there were plenty of linens and towels.Lesley also went out of her way to make our two greyhounds feel completely at home. She set out a big bucket of water, left a towel for their paws, and even provided tennis balls for them to play with. Those thoughtful gestures really made the stay feel special for all of us.We especially enjoyed sitting on the lanai, looking out at the curious cows next door—such a peaceful, rural setting. There’s a charming boutique right next door, and Lesley was incredibly responsive throughout our stay. Even though the cottage is near a railway line, the occasional train added a bit of character rather than being a disturbance.We highly recommend this spot for a relaxing weekend getaway."

"We had aman amazing two night stay in the Cass suite. The room was very spacious and clean with a impressive amd comfortable bed (had the best nights sleep). We relaxed in the hot tub every chance we could get. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant on the first night and found the reading area to chill in afterwards. All staff were incredibly helpful and made our stay a fantastic one. The hotel is a very short drive from Hanmer Springs so was ideal for what we needed. We would stay again next time we are in the area and would highly recommend."

"An amazing place to stay, the owners are friendly & onsite to help. We were shown to our room which doesn't happen often these days, certainly a nice touch. The rooms are clean & well appointed, even down to having a potted plant in the room. Fridge, microwave, fridge & hob all clean & in good working order. We have been travelling for a month & this was one of the most comfy beds. There is parking outside each room & while there is a road nearby it didn't cause any problems. "
