We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was centrally located and very odern. What I liked mot was the service. Everyone there went out of their way to make us happy. Fresh bottles of water every day, a Nespresso machine in the room and one in the lobby with great tasting coffee. They made me a cappuccino and delivered it to my room. Heavenly. When it rained they gave me an umbrella. Totally a classy and lovely hotel. If you are into art, you will love the wall hangings and lamps from a designer from Mexico City. They are available for sale too. I was tempted. But I must mention the king sized bed and cradles you when you sleep. So comfy. I usually like hard beds but I slept so well on their mattress, I will have to rethink that. Can't say enough about the service, the staff and the hotel.

Staff was amazing, super friendly, always eager to help, they even gave us a history lesson of San Cristobal and their buildings. We highly recommend this hotel to families w/kids. Muchas gracias por ser tan acogedores.

We checked in at midnight and Camilo received us. He was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and beds are extremely comfortable. Hotel is very centrally located. We had easy access to shopping, eating and nightlife. Definitely will come back.

Rooms are nice with decent space. Location is great but noisy as the rooms are right on the street. Windows are no where near noise proof. You can hear the conversations of the people walking by. Otherwise, a great place.

Location is great but didn’t like that it had no room service and for bfast you had to cross to the restaurant, food was great but don’t like the fact that for basic stuff nothing is offer there.

New and comfortable but too pricey and noisy
The hotel is new and it is very well located, however it is too pricey for what it offers. Also it is surrounded by many bars so there is music noise until around 4 am which is uncomfortable. Rooms are comfortable and everything is new.

I checked in at the Plaza Gallery Hotel and Boutique on a Monday night and checked out on Saturday morning and all I can say is this is a clean hotel with a wonderful location. The room I had was spacious and the bed was okay perhaps too soft but still comfortable. There is also a flat screen TV if you want to catchup on news or sports before going to bed. The location is great because most of the top attractions of San Cristobal de las Casas are within walking distance. The only place you might need a taxi for is Iglesia de Guadalupe because it is nearly a mile away but I walked it from the hotel so I could see more of the city. Because the hotel is located in the centro they do play music very late in the plaza but I was still able to get enough sleep. If you want total quiet then you must get a hotel located in an area away from here. The hotel staff including front desk and housekeeping was extremely pleasant. The people I had the most contact with Grecia, Felipe, and Anna were very friendly and have excellent customer service skills. The only issue I had , I did want to use their front desk safe but the key was unavailable so I had to use the room safe. Nearby there is an Oxxo if you need to buy drinks or snacks to take to your room. If you decide to visit San Cristobal then I recommend this hotel.

A great option when visiting San Cristobal
The hotel was clean and beautiful with easy access to everything San Cristobal has to offer. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even called us when they thought we may have been lost! Upon arrival they unexpectedly brought mulled wine...a nice touch! Breakfast was complimentary and Just a short walk away. This is our third time visiting San Cristobal and I would stay here again. One of our two nights was a Saturday and there was a loud bar close by that resonated thru our room. The second night was perfect.

Great location, everything you need to see in San Cristobal is in walking distance. Rooms are a little smaller than I’m used to, but beds are very comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay. Would stay here again.

We spent a week in San Cristóbal area the hotel It's located right in the heart of the city, easy to get around everywhere, the staff are very friendly and willing to help at any time, breakfast it was great they just need to find a way to keep it warm most of the time it was cold at the time getting to the room, also they offered a bigger room with an amazing view unfortunately we couldn't stayed because it had a terrible smell to cigarette, little disappointed from that part we decided to stay in this place to be smoking free so I don't understand the smell anyways overall very comfortable place to stay, next time we will try something different.

Very nice accommodation. Luxury hotel. The room had everything you would want and need. Nice little touches like quality toiletries, and nightly biscuits dropped to your door. Staff made a huge effort to accommodate us and fulfill requests. Only issue was ieth the shower. Temperature wasn't consistent.

My stay at Plaza Gallery hotel was awesome, I had the Jr. Suite and it was perfect, very well located in the city of San Cristobal and very quiet. The room was nice, clean and very cozy although it would be better if it would’ve had a room heater.

Service is fantastic. You'll be greeted properly by the staff and they'll attend all of your requests and needs. No elevator and some errors in the room design make it not the most comfortable stay.

Everything was amazing, except for the fact that the pipelines are old and the bathroom causes problems. The location of the hotel is the best, you can literally walk everywhere and the employees are great.

The good and the bad
Hi, The best thing about this hotel is the location. Right on the square across from the main cathedral. The worst thing is the gaudy decor. The rooms are a bit tight but they manage to squeeze everything in. There is no real view and no charm. That being said the hotels is clean the staff is very accomodating and you can walk to just about any location in San Cristobal.

Free valet and mulled wine upon check-in, friendly staff, and located steps from zocalo town square. Plenty of shops and restaurants plus free breakfast included at amazing Via Vai restaurant one block away. Authentic street vendors, food, farmacias within walking distance. Greatest discovery; upscale yuppie-hipster bar 500 Noches up the street with live music and Spanish jazz vibe. Music played in hallways gives this place Central Park flair in a quaint town surrounded by mountains. Highly recommended.

Sweet and central
Great hotel with exceptionally pleasant and lovely staff. Although the rooms are on the smaller side they are very clean and very well thought out. Very central for all amenities. Fantastic breakfast and the waiting staff exceptionally polite. No problem with the noise in the background as it just happens to be a lively and vibrant town. No soundproofing in the world would prevent the noise coming through! It's Mexico, it's loud. Loved our stay.

Great stay. Close to everything downtown. Great food and service. Very clean rooms no ac but very fresh. Only downside is it's a bit noisy since your next to the window of a busy street.

Super great service, we love it. Good food, and rooms are super clean they give you a glass of wine for welcome and every day they check your room twice for cleaning and they leave you a gift every day on your room 5 star hotel

The best of this hotel is the location. Yes you are in the middle of everything but you will pay for that, don't forget it. This boutique hotel is a perfect example of many things that this kind of hotels need to change or learn: - Noisy rooms during day and night, you can literally hear everything form the outside. - Lack of security during the night: I forgot my key inside the room and went to the front desk asking a new one, the guy didn't asked my name or any... he gave it to me as simple as ordering a glass of water. - Basic and disappointing included breakfast. - Problems in general design of the room: no power outlets, strange spaces at the bathroom... If you ask me, I wasn't satisfied with the amount we paid for.
