"St. Thomas Margaritaville – Honest Review St. Thomas Margaritaville has a few strong points, but unfortunately the negatives overshadow what could be a great stay. Pros: • The resort itself is clean, well‑kept, and visually appealing. • It’s excursion‑friendly, making it easy to get picked up for tours and activities. • The bar and restaurant food is surprisingly good, with solid menu options when the service cooperates. Cons: • The staff is extremely rude, unhelpful, and disorganized across multiple departments. Basic requests feel like an inconvenience to them. • There is no weekly room service, and even when you request it, it rarely happens. • Fresh towels and bedding are not delivered in a timely manner, sometimes not at all unless you repeatedly follow up. • Restaurant service is slow, inattentive, and often rude, which ruins the otherwise good food. • The beachfront is dirty, poorly maintained, and essentially unusable, which is disappointing for a Caribbean resort. • The resort adds unauthorized charges to your credit card, with no explanation. You have to constantly monitor your account and dispute charges, which is stressful and unacceptable."

"Very unique property. Staff at desk not very welcoming. On property shop not well stocked. Bar staff Jay and Lisa were very nice and staff at evening bar were very accommodating. Bell staff didn’t offer to take our bags into room which was strange. Food was good. Great views from room and room was well appointed."

"The service was good the staff was very friendly and helpful. A few minor inconveniences like the remotes to the tvs not working, no WiFi upon arrival both of which were minor because I didn’t plan to be in the room for the majority of the day but you may want to come home unwind and watch a little tv. Besides that everything else was great, the have a really nice coffee shop on site and sometimes have a live band playing by the pool."

"How it pains me to leave this review because there were good things about the property but the hosts lack of integrity tainted the overall experience in the end. The property looks like the pictures and has breathtaking views! The house was clean and had more than enough amenities. The pool was small but heated so that was nice. Beware of the following: 1. ROACHES! In the middle of the night, going into the kitchen we found roaches crawling all over the clean dishes and in the sink! 2. The roads leading up to the house are quite treacherous! Make sure you have an all terrain vehicle and that you and your passengers are not afraid of heights because it is STEEP. No one else in my group would even drive to and from the property because of that. Just make sure your driving skills are on point if you choose this property. 3. When I reached out to the host regarding the roaches, I was told that this is just a common problem in the Caribbean and there was no other communication with the host after that. I reached out to VRBO support who contacted the hosts numerous times and still no response. Despite me having photos and videos of the roaches that were present during our stay and that I contacted the host during our stay, they provided false information to VRBO. I was really hoping they would do the right thing, but that never happened. Such a disappointing experience."

"Excellent views and location. Property needs some updating and tlc. Cat was on property in which I am afraid of cat but the cat was not an issue.Kitchen needs updating, advise to do steam cleaning of the furniture. Large property with ample space for everyone. Deck was a nice size."

"We arrived to find linens and towels draped over every piece of furniture. The dryer was not working. The kitchen had no hot water for the duration of our stay. Both bathroom showers had visible dark growth on the ceilings and walls. One bathroom sink had no water flow at all. A kitchen drawer fell out onto a guest's feet. The curtains were broken and could not be repaired. The beds were not configured as reserved. There were two wine glasses for a unit that accommodates six guests.A handyman addressed one faucet. All other issues remained unresolved.We relocated after one night. We do not recommend this property."
