"Our family (children and grandchildren) just spent a week in this wonderful home! It was very clean, had everything we needed, and communication with the host was excellent. Definitely bring a few extra towels if you have a large group, ghost crab on the bay side, have a cinnamon roll at The Lighthouse Bakery, ice cream and pizza at The Island Rainbow, and seafood fromSkinners. It was laid back and so enjoyable to disconnect as a family! We will definitely be back!"

"We loved staying here. It was quiet but only about 15 minutes from the beach and restaurants on Dauphin Island. We would definitely stay here again."

"The house itself was okay. Definitely would look for new cleaning company. We had to do a little minor cleaning when we got there. We had an issue with the kitchen sink being clogged, someone was there quickly when I reported it. Could use a little work, but all in all, we enjoyed our stay."

"The property was excellent! The private bay side beach was so much fun for my 5 yr. old granddaughter. This property is not good for elderly family members, due to the stairs. The only downside was not being able to spend time on the grounds due to being attacked ferociously by the mosquitoes. This is the third time at Dauphin Island and have never had that problem."

"Gorgeous house. Location is incredible. You are literally feet from the beach. It is kind of like being in a cul de sac. Other properties are close by and there is not a lot of beach area in front of the house but we never had a problem. There is tons of space outside the immediate area for others to utilize. Host was incredibly responsive. Felt like we were staying at a friend's house. There was a hurricane in the gulf and created some weather challenges. Kristen reached out to make sure we were OK. Also had an AC issue and she was on top of it. One of my favorite hosts of all time. First day we saw an amazing dolphin show from the balconies, at least 50 dolphins jumping and playing right in front of us. Beach and ocean view is unimpeded. There was a total of 9 of us and we had more than enough space. Beds were ultra comfortable, the sound of the waves at night was so relaxing. A big hit with one of our teenage granddaughters was the cubby hall on the upstairs level. Kitchen is well equipped, we had everything we needed to have to prepare meals. Lots of outdoor lounges and even provided chairs for the beach. There was a weber charcoal grill for grilling. To have a house that close to the ocean and be able to maintain it as well as they do is truly amazing to me. Definitely would stay here again and based on the Host (Kristen), Location and Amenities, I would highly recommend Island Cure. Thank you for being a terrific host and sharing your home with us"

"First vacation trip to Dauphine Island and definitely will return. Enjoyed seeing the ocean view and bay view from this property. Plenty of yard for the dogs to roam and exercise. Our host Deborah was very prompt and responsive to any questions we had."

"The house was perfectly decorated. It feels so fresh and clean. The house was easy to keep clean throughout the visit. My favorite part was watching and listening to the ocean, laughing gulls and pelicans while I cooked and washed dishes. This was our 4th time to the Island and we are blessed every visit! We are looking forward to the next one! Thank you to our wonderful host for sharing your beautiful home with us!"
