Atmosphere and decor are unique. The owner has spent many years searching for just the right furniture, art and artifacts. Owners and staff are personable and engaged with the guests and made us feel welcome. And the breakfast is great too.

he best choice in Turku
Perfect atmosphere, feels like the time stops and you can enjoy. Confortable bed and big room. We have visited at least 5 other hotels in Turku, this was the most special one, unique ❤️

Practically Perfect
If you are into modern hotels with rain forest showers and air conditioning, you won't like the Park Hotel. But it is, as Mary Poppins, practically perfect. It is like staying in a museum of the early 1900s, with antique furniture in a beautiful mansion.

Wonderful stay at Park Hotel Turkku
From check in to check out, our stay at the Park Hotel was Fabulous! We were a party of 7 split between 2 rooms, with 4 adults and 3 children. We were very impressed by the size and comfort of the beds (we had expected much smaller accommodations). Each room had a day bed for the third person, with a rollaway bed provided in the room accommodating 4 people. Breakfast was high quality and lovely- if you can’t fill your stomach then??? Our luggage was lost by the airline and hotel staff were gracious about accepting calls from our airline to advise as to when our luggage would be delivered. We were able to purchase sundries from the front desk to keep us going until our luggage arrived. The hotel is easily within walking distance of many Turku attractions including the canal, river walk and cathedral. Thank you for the wonderful stay and excellent customer service!

Nice single room booked for two nights. Double bed provided which was soft and comfortable. Breakfast a good seletion of hot and cold buffet food. Hot and cold drinks also. Plates provided rather small. Nice feel to hotel and very close to park and Art Museum. Was really nice time, also free car park which was very handy

It was beautifully decorated, so unique and wonderful. Breakfast was good and the staff was great. The only thing that wasn’t exceptionally good was the strength of the WiFi. But other than that it was great!

Cosy hotel with a great location
The hotel is rather cosy than modern, furnishing is quite old and bed was very soft. Extra charge for sauna - 25 EUR if you want to use it yourself. There was advertised there will be free tea and coffee in common area, but there was none (one of the reasons I booked this hotel - to have access to hot tea in Finnish winter:) Breakfast was ok, not very wide selection, but it was expected in a small hotel. Staff was extremely nice and helpful and they really care. Wifi signal was not great, do not recommend staying there if you have to work there. Location is very good, only two blocks to the main walking street, about 2 minutes to the train station and 10 minutes to bus station on foot. What was great is that the room was very warm.

We are sorry to hear that there was some wrong information about our lobby bar. We serve coffee and tea but they cost some extra like everything you order from there. There is possibility to book the sauna on your private use for rate 12 EUR/ person, for one hour. We have noticed that our customers respect their privacy and like to use it privately. We are happy to see that you have found our location very good, as we are located in a very peaceful area within a good distance from stations and city center. We hope to see you as our guest again!

Classic style home away from home...
Place where always return and also take our foreign friends, partners and delegates. Real old fashion style and hospitality in the next to city centre. Refreshing change to all chain hotels. Book and enjoy!

Lovely quaint place next to the Art museum. It remained me of guesthouses in Germany. Quiet and only a few minutes walk from the market place. Breakfast was good too.

Comfortable and convenient for the town.
Hotel easily reached from the train station. It is in a quiet position. The hotel grounds are lovely. Room was comfortable with ornate furnishings. Very peaceful given that it is close to town. Breakfast was superb. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Wifi connection was poor in the room so we had to sit by the door to get connection. If you like to stay in the 1900's the decor is great. However, the room had wall paper and some were peeling. If you want a clean and updated rooms, this is not what you want.

Great staff, unique hotel, great location
This is a great base in a great city, a few minutes from the train station and an easy walk, over the lovely park that it's next to, to the bus station or city centre. The owners and staff are friendly, all strong characters, and very helpful. We had a large and very striking room that we never felt cooped up in. The excellent breakfasts set us up for each day in and around Turku. The hotel is a large Art Nouveau house, set in gardens, with antique furnishings and playful decor. There's a whistling parrot too. It's a strongly individual hotel for guests who appreciate individual care and a vibrant environment. We had a wonderful 8 day stay. We took advantage of Turku's many excellent good value lunches and ate at the table in our room most evenings. There's a supermarket just around the corner and the main shopping streets are just a few blocks away. The art museum is in the adjacent park and the other museums are in easy reach. The tourist information in Turku is very helpful. We had a great 8 days, mixing trips to the archipelago with days in the city.

The hotel was very beautiful and decorated very old fashioned- neat to be surrounded by the old furniture etc. The exterior is very pretty too with nice chairs for sitting However the wifi doesn’t work in the rooms ( have to use in the common lounge ) and the room on the third floor was very hot with only two roof windows. We had to leave the hall door open to get some circulation but it was still too hot. The other point of annoyance was it is situated beside some kind of camp(???) with loud singing and cheering for 1.5 hours both nights.

Unfortunately, here in Finland, is exceptional heat wave and we do not have cooling air conditioning because this is very old house (built in 1902). We are sorry to hear that there was some problems with the Wifi connection. Our receptionists will do their best to sort these kind of problems immediately when they occur. The hotel is situated next to Puolala Park, there are no camping areas at the city centrum. There must have been people at the park, spending a summer eve. We hope that next time you visit us the problems are no longer present. We wish you nice summertime and welcome you back again.

Good boutique hotel
It’s a traditional style boutique hotel. It looks fascinating from outside. The staff were generally in good and welcoming manner. Key card is special that we’d tried several time to open room door. Room space is acceptable and decorated in elegant style, just telling us we’re in Europe. Downside is that power sockets aren’t enough for charging camera batteries and mobile phones. Wi-Fi is in acceptable speed but in one occasion iPhone warns the network wasn’t secure then we gave up connecting the hotel Wi-Fi network.

Very quaint and charming hotel
Highlight of our stay in Turku. Charming hotel that had comfortable beds, spacious family room, nice breakfast and a quiet location near the park. Even Jaako the parrot was entertaining! Close enough to walk to the Market Square and the river, lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping. Perfect location and stay.
