Dirty!

The room was very dirty. It looked like mold everywhere. Showers did not look clean. Asked for clean towels and it never came. Put down for a king size bed, was told at the counter it would be a queen bc the size is based on availability, walked into room and it was a double. Also booked for ocean view, got put into a room without an oceanview. Came for our wedding stay & left disappointed. Sister booked a standard room & they put her in an ocean view king size bed room. Horrible stay. Will not return.

Carpets

The rooms are nice, but not carpeted. It seemed to be the only thing missing really. On our floor, the 6th, there was a room with a door left ajar, obviously run down and disturbing to pass by. The main elevators broke down on our second day.

A comfortable hotel close to the beach.

Pros: This hotel is close to the beach and not far from the airport. It is on the main road where all the shuttle buses run. Good price.
Cons: The building is old and the main elevators didn't work well. Guests had to use the parking lot elevators.
Location: Close to the beach and airport. Shuttle buses that go to the main shopping centers and parks stop right outside the hotel.
This hotel is close to the beach and not far from the airport. It is on the main road where all the shuttle buses run, although it does not have its own airport shuttle bus. There are a lot of restaurants in and around the hotel. The hotel is old and the elevators didn't work very well. We had to use the parking lot elevators. For the price, this is a hotel I would visit again.

Facility needs major renovation

Thd building seems like it would collapse any minute. The dirtiness of the room is as bad as it could get. I'm surprised the rooms are never vacuum cleaned as i saw a nutshell 3 days in a row on the carpet. The stairways and laundry look like the back alley of a slum and the only place that looks normal is the lobby.

Having a choice of restaurants in the hotel lobby was nice.

Wonderful staff!

Wonderful experience!! The front desk staff went out of their way to make sure I got a room for an early check-in which was not guaranteed upon arrival. I was even upgraded to an executive suite at the same rate. Best location with adequate parking space.

Nice hotel, great customer service.

Pros: Friendly staff, safe; require access card to the hotel floors, free upgrade to ocean view, accommodating schedule, mailed forgotten postcards for free
Cons: A little bit of maintenance could have been done in the room we stayed, but nothing major or that most people probably notice.
Location: Premium shopping (Gucci, Chanel, Louis Vutton), Kmart, Micronesian Mall, Popular chain restauraunts, movie theatre, Onward Water Park, and much more
Our stay at Royal Orchid was great. Upon arrival there we discovered that because I made my reservation so late they had not received it. I merely showed them my itinerary that I had booked it and they gave me no issues checking in and resolved the issue themselves with the travel agency. To accommodate our flight schedule they allowed us at no additional charge an early check-in and early check-out. The staff working were so very polite and courteous it was great talking with them. I also received a free upgrade from superior to an ocean view which was spectacular. Lastly, after checking out while at the airport I realized I had accidentally forgotten 3 post cards I'd written on the computer desk in my room. After calling the hotel to ask about it they said not to even worry about the postage which I offered to pay over the phone by card, and they mailed them for me for free. I don't usually do reviews, but my experience here was so great I decided I had to share it. We will be visiting Guam again in a few months, and Royal Orchid is 100% positively where I'll be staying.

One night stay was great.

Pros: comfortable/clean
Cons: Faster internet, Hot water in shower.
I stayed for one night. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. My only issue was the shower did not have hot water, not even warm water, but the separate bath tub and the sink had hot water, so I wasn't sure what was wrong. I managed for one night to take a bath which I don't usually do, which was fine. If I stayed more than one night I would have talked to the staff about it. Other than that the room was great. The internet did drag a little sometimes but I managed just fine.

Moldy room

First room I got in was too moldy. I got sick on the first day and had to ask them to change it. Some of the furniture in the room was dusty and found a used slipper under th bed. Wifi is slow and can't do much.
