Biggest disappointment was the closure of the large pool for maintenance. We chose this hotel as it had 2 pools - there should have been a clear warning when booking that the pool was going to be closed during our stay.
The second pool was hopeless for swimming as it was too small.
We were continually receiving phone calls about changing our room and messages left on our room phone repeating the same message about airport transfer charges- there appeared to be no staff coordination.

It's a bit dated and the outdoor pools are basic, but the lawn area is perfect for sitting around .
Reception staff with only a few exceptions are appalling and their service attitude needs work. Get one of the male staff to assist you. The pool staff are wonderful.

This was my second stay at this hotel. I was a regular guest when it was the Guam Marriott. Renovations appear to be ongoing but slow. The pool deck was cracked and very rough. Carpeting was old and worn. The room and restaurant were very nice. The staff that we encountered were well-trained. The price we paid for the room was about 25% higher than it was as a Marriott hotel.
The rooms are clean and good for vacationers, maybe not so much for business travelers, no useful electrical outlets for computer or phone chargers. Otherwise staff was wonderful, very helpful and the amenities were well maintained and staffed.
I have stayed at the hotel 5 times and just love going to Guam. The staff are very friendly - there is a lot of wear and tear on the hotel now due to climate- super humid. We love to eat outside and the only option is a casual restaurant- they have minimized the menu which was a bit of a shame. The Hotel is on the edge of the bay/reef so quieter than the other hotels and yet convenient for shopping.
Located on the west coast, Tumon is Guam’s tourist center. Often called “the Paris of the Pacific,” Tumon has luxury and mid-scale shops—one of the shopping centers even has the world’s largest tunnel aquarium. The white sandy beaches and turquoise waters of the bay are enclosed by a long coral reef, creating a gentle pool that is perfect for swimming, fishing, and snorkeling. Choose from a variety of restaurants and enjoy nightlife that ranges from jazz and rock n’ roll clubs to karaoke.
