Overall staff are friendly and facility is not too bad but do not expect a quality in the mainland or elsewhere.

The hotel is very run-down once you get out of the lobby. Some of the floors are better than others. The wallpaper in the hallways is peeling, the room may or may not smell, and the amenities vary based on the room you are in (I know because my coworker also stayed here).
However, this is a decent hotel for the Island, and the area. In this price range, you have to kind of tolerate what you get. You are close to the beach, there is a nice little bar, and a pool. So I would still recommend the hotel, but just be aware of the shortcomings.
We've previously stayed at this Hilton and have always had a great experience, however, we had several issues during this stay. The room I booked was for an ocean view, however, the room we were given had a beach view that was covered by a large tree (essentially a tree view). This would not have been a problem, but for the mosquitos which were buzzing around on the patio so I had to keep the sliding door closed to avoid being eaten alive. The next morning, I asked to be moved to a different room and Andre at the front desk was great and helped accommodate the request. Andre moved us immediately to a nice room on the 11th floor which was also the Hilton Honors Floor. Again, everything was fine, but that afternoon housekeeping forgot to leave bath towels when the room was cleaned. They were apologetic so it was not a problem, but the next day, my husband and I stayed in the room all day and just requested extra towels in the late afternoon. I called housekeeping and they mentioned that they would bring up the towels but no one ever showed up so we decided to leave for dinner. When we returned to the room, the towels still had not been replaced.
Overall, I would still stay in the hotel, but the rooms (particularly the bathrooms) are getting old and probably need to be updated soon. The TVs don't work that well, and the radios are antiquated, I was trying to set the alarm and could not set it to the radio station I wanted. The rooms and hallways also have an unusual smell.
The rooms are clean and good for vacationers, maybe not so much for business travelers, no useful electrical outlets for computer or phone chargers. Otherwise staff was wonderful, very helpful and the amenities were well maintained and staffed.
It is little bit far from center but if you rent a car, one of good choice to stay.
Nikko hotel has the best sunset view in Guam. Also swimming pool and ocean for snorkeling are great.
