No longer a Days Inn

Buyer beware, this is no longer a Days Inn and it's quickly on it's way downhill. The air conditioning is per room and it was not on when we got there...it's August and HOT! Luckily, we were only there one night. There was no remote for the TV and the chairs in the room were tattered and old.

Pros: leaving
Cons: Civility and helpfulness by the staff
Location: Well you can hire a taxi to take you to the airport because the websites showing 'free airport shuttle' is a lie
There was no airport shuttle as advertised and I assumed part of the quoted price. The desk clerk was extremely unhelpful about this, in fact she was really rude. This is the first time I've stayed somewhere where a room you have to descend a flight of stairs is described as a 'ground floor room'

Pros: Location and price
Location: Went to the Dome District and explored downtown then went to the Hard Rock Casino
Great Price for a good location, 5 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from downtown. Good morning Continental breakfast except the juice was a little watery.

Funny business with my credit card

Used my card to pay the pet deposit when we arrived. At 11:30 PM, some guy called our room saying that it didn't go through & wanting me to bring my card to the office right then. When I said no, he wanted the number over the phone. I said I would bring it by in the AM, which I did. When we got back to the room that afternoon, we were locked out. Office claimed my card didn't go through - it had been fine elsewhere all day. They swiped it again. I got a receipt. At checkout, I made sure I was paid in full. Three hours later, a man called me saying he needed my number to check me out "properly". I didn't owe any thing - he needed to put the number in their computer. No way I was giving it out over the phone. I will be closely inspecting my credit card bill. My card was swiped probably 6 times. I don't know what they charged me.

The staff was rude, the pool was empty, the carpets and bedding were disgusting, I didn't want to touch anything in the room.

On expedia this hotel is supposed to offer shuttle service from airport. Hotel mgr said yea we don't offer that anymore after I paid $22 cab fare. Also no heads up that this hotel is in the drug infested area of Tulsa. Never again. And the free breakfast was bowl of cereal and room temp yogurt.

We were very happy with the price of the room. We were only there to sleep as we were driving through for a job. Didn't need anything fancy and we got a free breakfast.
