This place is nice and near diving. I was travelling by motorcycle. Due to rain I arrived a day latter than expected. The staff let me know they waited for me well into the night. There is not full-time staff at a front desk. Hence, if you are delay please contact the hotel. Everything was great and I will stay there again. The dive sites are minutes away. Perfect place to stay for diving. There isn't really a town near by so really the only thing to do there is dive. Enjoy

There are eight spacious villas surrounding a lovely pool. It was peaceful and pretty. Breakfast was nice and the staff very helpful

everything in the resort is great. room is spacious and very clean. very relaxing at the poolside. all the staffs are really friendly and welcoming. but there are not many restaurants along the road. the resort restaurant offers wide choice of food but it was ok only.

Hidden gem of a resort
This resort was a wonderful surprise, Tulamben, is really just one road with restaurants, dive shops and a couple of general stores, but the resort itself was beautiful, the bungalows were modern, super clean, and arranged around gorgeous gardens, with water features and a swimming pool. The staff were fantastic, helpful and attentive. We had one dive guide for all our dives which was nice. The resort has been quiet since the volcano erupted last year, which is a shame as it really is a little gem, I would definitely stay there again.

Small friendly hotel
This small cottage-styl hotel is modern with spacious rooms set around a swimming pool & garden. The cottages have a patio overlooking the central pool/garden. The staff is friendly & quick to help with yr needs. Breakfast is included & there is an on-site restaurant. The location is also good right on the main road & close to Perana bus stop.

Irresponsible
At 10 pm our first night we were awakened by rapping on the door. A boy said, "you must leave...the volcano is dangerous...the hotel is closing." Outside, cars and trucks were streaming down the hill, away from town. How to leave? We were essentially put out on the street without transportation or any help. Luckily for us, the manager of a nearby resort, Dive Concepts, rescued us, took us down to Amed and found a hostel for the night. I hope the Tulamben Dive Resort never sees another customer.

Quiet, beautiful gardens, affordable luxury
This was the best place we stayed in Bali on our travels. So quiet. Helpful, upbeat and friendly staff. The gardens were kept beautifully and make this place perfect. Rooms clean and huge, great balconies. Bed comfortable. All day sun in the pool but shade somewhere at all times. Close to restaurants and dive places. 10/10.

Very private and intimate
This resort is tucked away nicely and feels like a little isolated oasis even though it is close to the street. The rooms are large and provide everything you need. The porch is a great place to relax with a book and dry your swimwear. The staff are lovely and will help you in any way that they can. There is a nice selection of meal options for breakfast and the restaurant provides beautiful meals for lunch and dinner. the dive staff are very experienced and tailored the diving to what we wanted to experience.

Quaint and nice. The cottage was wonderful considering the price, and the staff was super friendly and competent. Loved getting my Open water license there, Made has been a wonderful instructor!

Had a pleasant stay at the resort. Facilities are new and room are clean. Diving lessons were great. Breakfast was sub-par, Hotel staff was really young and inexperienced. Internet connection was horrible and wasn’t working most of the time besides early morning and evening

Great Place
Newish hotel, spotlessly clean. Independent chalets so no noise from adjoining rooms, very quiet, great beds, great a/c & neat pool. Bathroom is very good. Hard to find anything negative. Road noise in the restaurant is about all but other than that one of the best places we've stayed in Bali & really great value for money. Diving gear is near new & in top condition, dive staff are very good. On main road but the beach access for diving/snorkeling is close by. Very rare for me to give a 5 rating - Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic small resort
I spent 5 wonderful days at the Tulamben Dive Resort. The property is absolutely stunning, with the 8 or so cottages set around a lovely swimming poo. My room was spotless and well equipped, and the staff at the resort are incredibly friendly and helpful. For the price I paid this was a fantastic place to stay while in Tulamben. I did 7 dives with the resort's onsite dive shop, which shares guides with the larger Liberty resort up the road. The equipment is quite new, but I'm not sure how well maintained it is – my first regulator saw the pressure drop everytime I took a breathe. As we all know from day one of our open water course, this is not a good sign; however my guide didn't seem to think it was an issue. Eventually he swapped regs with me, and lo and behold the SPG of the faulty reg sprung a leak while underwater. So if you use the hire gear, make sure you check everything thoroughly before you descend. Overall though, this is an amazing resort. Highly recommended!

Nothing special... fine for one night
I was disappointed upon arrival... this place is very impersonal and clinical. I'm not quite sure why it gets so many rave reviews. It wasn't bad... just nothing special, which is what I was expecting based on the reviews. The staff were lovely - the room... essentials provided, all in good condition. Basic bathroom. No TV. Shaky wi-fi. Clinical lighting more suited for a kitchen than bedroom. Fine for one night but with hindsight we should have stayed in Amed as I originally planned. Much nicer village there and much more choice of accommodation.

Wish we Stayed Longer!
We really enjoyed our day here! A/C worked great, rooms were spacious and clean - all pool facing. Staff were friendly, even bringing over bottled water and watermelon following each of our dives. The dive shop was the tidiest Ive ever seen! There's more to dive here than just the wreck- worth staying a few days. The town itself is quiet and small, but there are a few restaurants and ATMs, easily walking distance from the hotel. Some construction is ongoing (as of Jan 2017) but the improvements are going to make it even nicer! Stay here!

Nice modern villas. Only 8 in the complex. Clean rooms. Rain shower in bathroom. Some traffic noise (right next to the main road). Mediocre breakfast. Poor wifi signal in the rooms. Unnecessarily petty on checkout with request for a late checkout fee for only being 45 mins late.

This place is wonderful! Clean rooms with separate sitting room. Beautiful pool. And diving was wonderful. Kadek , our dive master was so patient. Our driver Made was also great. Manager Wayan was very efficient in arranging tours to various places. And the price was right.

Outstanding !
This resort is affiliated to the highly acclaimed Liberty Dive Resort just 150m away, by the same owners and operators. We have now stayed in all 4 phases of LDR since our first visit in 2007. The high standards are maintained in this new resort with 8 Deluxe cottages spread out spaciously around a decent sized pool. The rooms are HUGE ! Big beds, good mattresses and pillows. Design is the same as the Luxury Cottages at LDR. New AC, hot water shower. Has a safe & stocked fridge. No bath tub. Rooms are meticulously cleaned and gardens tended to everyday ! Service staff are friendly. Being new, some are still improving their English (not as fluent as those at LDR yet but they will get there over time). For divers, there is a dive center on site. Gear is brand new. I had a new Aqualung BCD. While new guides are being hired and trained, more experienced LDR guides help out. Being located along the main road, we did not have an issue with traffic noise as the road is not busy all day long. It's closer to the many restaurants and a new Indomaret mini mart has opened since our last visit. Some construction is still ongoing to build a new onsite 2-level restaurant, a compressor room & a class room. These would be complete by Jan17. There is no problem with construction noise either. For time being, breakfast is prepared at nearby Sandya restaurant and served in-room. Wifi was a little unstable but not a big issue. This will be another popular sell-out resort when fully complete.

Great cheap and clean hotel. The staff are friendly if a little too unobtrusive sometimes. Unfortunately for me the diving prices were too expensive compared to deals I negotiated elsewhere. The restaurant is still being built (as of 9 Sep 2016) so you have to order your food the night before and it comes a little cold and plain but it does come at whatever time you request. That said it was really nice and cozy, looks really picturesque, rooms were big clean and comfortable, staff were adequately friendly and the price for accommodation was second to none. Finally massages for $10 US arranged promptly and easily by staff.

Amazing gorgeous hotel comfortable and wonderful
Our stay was amazing here although this hotel was not on the beach it was a 200 or so yard walk to the incredible beach ( definitely not a sandy beach but rocky and clean) with the Liberty dive sight within minutes of shore both snorkeling and diving it's truly a lovely place to stay the staff were absolutely great and I will definitely return here again soon.

Really enjoyed my stay here! Very easy to arrange all your dives! Just let them know when and where. The rooms are all separate so it feels like you have your own house. I will be back to visit my new friends!
Nice waterfall to visit nearby. Just go west to Les and turn left and follow signs!

The hotel looks new, the rooms are well designed, the staff were very helpful and friendly (there was some confusion and frustration experienced while checking in, but other than that five star service). The pool is small, but adequate and very well maintained. The ambiance of the hotel is appealing and the location is great. We had some great dives at the Liberty wreck. The hotel's gear and instructors/ guides were great.

Brand new hotel 7 min walk to the Liberty wreck
Hotel is brand new, only open 3 months as if June 2016. Rooms are very large, bed was comfortable, bathrooms are ultra nice. Overall design is very modern with upgraded furnishings. Pool is deep and looks/feels good. hotel has a dive shop and transport down to liberty. Many dive shops are all over the small town. Breakfast was good. Overall for the small price and newness/comfort of the hotel, I highly recommend this place.

Gute Basis für Tauch- und Schnorchelausflüge
Beim Tulamben Dive Resort handelt es sich um ein kleines Hotel mit Pool, bei dem das Tauchen und Schnorcheln im Mittelpunkt stehen. Ausrüstung kann geliehen werden, Ausflüge werden organisiert. Direkt in Tulamben gibt es ein Riff und ein Schiffswrack, die beide direkt vom Ufer erreicht werden können. Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter zeigen einem gerne die genauen Spots. Die Zimmer sind kleine freistehende Häuschen und sehr sauber. Massagen werden auch angeboten, diese finden jedoch, etwas ungewöhnlich, draußen im Freien direkt am Pool statt. Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen werden ebenfalls angeboten. Hier gab es für unseren Geschmack aber bessere Optionen im Ort. Das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis vom Tulamben Dive Resort hat uns überzeugt und so ist das Hotel eine klare Empfehlung, wenn man in der Region tauchen oder schnorcheln möchte.

Hôtel très agréable
Nous nous sommes tout de suite senti bien dans cet hôtel ! Bon accueil, chambre propre et spacieuse. Petits bungalows donnant sur une piscine très agréable. Le petit restaurant est très correct. Très bien situé : à moins de 5 min à pieds de l’epave pour la plongée . Très bonne adresse pour tulamben !!!!

Cafard, rat et personnel pas accueillant
Bon confort général mais à peine arrivé dans la chambre qui venait d'etre faite un cafard se baladait sur un mur. Le personnel s'en ait occupé. Le lendemain au réveil un autre petit cafard était dans notre lit, écrasé pendant notre sommeil. De meme qu'une fourmilière passait par un angle de mur. Passons pour le rat qui se baladait à l'entrée de la piscine près du "local" poubelle. De meme le personnel n'est pas très accueillant contrairement aux avis que j'ai pu lire, le sourire et la chaleur du personnel d'une dizaine d'autres hôtels fait avant n'était pas au rendez vous ici. Sans oublier le restaurant et ses crevettes surgelés sorties du congélateur à 2 mètres de nous, alors que l'océan est à 300 mètres. Quand j'ai donc voulu négocier le prix en partant en mentionnant nos désagréments photos à l'appui on nous a simplement répondu que la chambre était propre et qu'ils ne comprenaient pas. Tout cela aurait pu être réparé par un geste commercial

Mooie, ruime kamer
Zeer grote kamer, erg schoon, groot terras met mooie zitjes, goede faciliteiten. Resort is klein opgezet, slechts 8 kamers. Erg rustig. Rondom zwembad ligbedjes. Snorkelen en duiken daar te boeken. Goede instructeur. Duiken vanaf de kant, ongeveer 500 m vanaf t hotel. Een prachtige duik- en snorkelervaring rijker, heel veel moois gezien.Het enige wat we daar misten was een sunscreen bij het restaurant. We hadden slechts 2 nachten geboekt en hadden graag wel langer willen blijven.

Hôtel situé en bord de route, très calme lors de notre séjour. Chambre spacieuse, claire, propre avec mini bar et coin the café mis à disposition. L'hôtel ne possède pas de restaurant. Nous avons eu notre petit déjeuner dans la chambre. Au sein de l'hôtel se trouve un club de plongee permettant de plonger sur l'épave qui se trouve à 5 minutes à pied.
