The young man that checked me into the hotel on the night of April 21, 2024, did an awesome job! He was polite, efficient, friendly. I have a degree in the hospitality industry and have worked in 4 and 5 star resorts. This young man should be commended on the excellent job that he did. I have stayed at this hotel twice now. It is quiet and clean. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. I have brought my dog with me each time and there are no loud car noises or voices of people in the next room to agitate my dog and keep him up at night or set him off barking. I will continue to stay here whenever I come to Tucson.

I have stayed in several La Quinta's in different states and have come to expect a consistent standard of quality. The Tucson facility was the worst of any place that I've ever stayed. The floors and edges around the room were filthy. The bathtub was so gross, we opted not to bathe. The bathroom door and sink need to be replaced. Both are beyond repair. The furniture is worn down like something one would buy to refinish from a thrift store. The next room had "rent by the week" quests complete with plants and a dog. One could only guess what their occupation is. On the plus side, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Linens were sparkling white.

Rooms definitely need some updating. The bath tub may have been white at on time but it was gray & looked filthy. A dead bug was smashed on the wall and another one on the ceiling. Check in staff was very nice.

We requested a room downstairs bc we're seniors with 2 dogs. We were told there weren't any available. That was not true. Our dogs were terrified of the concrete stairs so we had to carry them up and down each time. Check out is 11am. At 11:10 the lady from the front desk came banging on the door, then she opened the door & terrified our dogs. At that time we were in the process of loading the car. Had I not been in the room at that moment, our dogs would've escaped. We will NEVER go back to this location.

Mostly everything was great. It definitely looks like it used to be an old motel, acquired by the Wyndham group, looks recently renovated, at least on the surface (new coats of paint, new carpets and bathroom floor, new bedding/linens), but the bathtub clearly looked like it has seen better years. Still, everything was very clean, except for the fact that the facilities may be in need of fumigation: I swatted two giant-sized mosquitoes and one tiny roach. That left us a little uneasy the first night. But for the rates offered, it still has great value, great location.

I stayed here for 13 nights, room was clean, bedding clean and fluffy white towels, breakfast was ample to start the day, staff where really nice and helpfull. Also within walking distance to shops and other eating outlets. I will definately be booking again.

The hotel was not very clean and looked very worn down. The hot tub was out of order which was disappointing. The room service staff was good about stopping by each day to collect garbage and bring more towels or toiletries. The tv in the room and cable was difficult to use-seemed to have a lag from the remote. WiFi was not good either. Also twice room card did not work to get into room and had to go to the front to get new keys. Overall a poor experience sadly.

Noisy surroundings, noisy fridge, hard bed, bad bathtub and tub fixtures. Tiny breakfast area, unable to have breakfast due to no where to sit. Went to Denny’s next door. Bathtub surface was badly worn and cracked around drain with a really bad patch job. The shower head, faucet and knobs were very old and worn. Entry area was nice and well lit, late night desk clerk was very kind.

We ended up cancelling our stay and going to a Sheraton. Being from Canada and having camped our way down to Arizona. We wanted our hotel to have a working hot tub and pool. Especially since travelling with children. We called a couple days in advance and the staff (very friendly) assured us the hot tub and pool were in working order. We booked, and checked in, upon checking in, we asked if the hot tub and pool were working and they said yes, again very friendly professional experience. We got our keys and headed to the room, checked out the pool and hot tub and to our surprise, not only was the hot tub not working, the water was cloudy and there was a visible scum layer on the bottom. The pool had debris floating all around in it as well. We went straight back to the lobby and canceled. We got a full refund and headed down the road to a slightly more expensive Sheraton. Was worth every penny.

Check in was amazing. Super friendly front desk staff. The breakfast lady was very rude. Stood over by the front desk and people kept asking for items that had run out. No milk, coffee, waffle mix, eggs, coffee cups….. Cut off time of 9am, is not enough time. I was shamed for taking breakfast to my room but there was no where to sit because everyone was rushing to get breakfast before 9am cutoff. Bathtub is painted and so are countertops. Peeling paint around sink. Property was clean.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was about par for the course - it will tide you over until lunch. The area is extremely easy to get around on by foot with a nice mall a couple of blocks away and plenty of dining options and bus transportation next to the hotel.

The staff was amazing! The property is run down and our room had the last guest’s chips on the floor. The toilet wouldn’t flush unless you held it down for 30 seconds and the carpet was peeling. It was cheap but for good reason, you get what you pay for. The outdoor area was nice and I liked the ability to open our back slider and sit outside. I’m pretty sure the property is non-smoking and there were at least 3 different groups of people smoking outside our room the next morning so it’s taken with a grain of salt.

The door key would stop working every time I came back in the evening and I would have to go back to the desk each time to get it reactivated. The hot tub was cooler than the main pool. The body wash and shampoo/conditioner both only half full and had dried product on the outsides of the bottles. The hotel map was confusing to read and there is not enough signage from each area to the lobby. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were lumpy I would have brought my own if I had known. Was definitely hoping for better. Oh well Hopeful my review helps the next person have a clear picture of where they are headed to if they book their stay here.
