The objective review
We left with mixed feelings about the place. When we arrived the hotel was not expecting us. They said they did not work with Hotels.com. I had to ring Hotels.com to sort it. It appeared that our reservation was sent to the hotel by Expedia under a different reference number but the hotel did not know that Expedia and Hotels.com were part of the same group. Hotels.com should educate their partners to avoid such confusion from happening again. Stress caused until this was resolved. The person from Hotels.com I called regarding this issue provided very good service. Other than this Oasis was a beautiful complex with lovely surroundings. Very friendly restaurant staff for breakfast. Excellent service by the SPA staff and great treatments. However our experience was spoilt by the fact that we could never get sun beds by the pool. Too few sunbeds for the number of people in the complex. Always reserved from early morning although the hotel states that sunbeds cannot be reserved prior to 8 am. The hotel is not enforcing this rule. No sunbeds at 8 am nor earlier. All taken an hardly any people around the pool. The hotel states they would collect the towels before 8 am but don't do it and all beds taken well before 8 am. Nightmare. Unfriendly bartenders at pool bar. We were spending a lot of money at the bar and they were still rude. The waitresses were friendly however. The beach was not cleaned very well and there were plastics on the sand.
