We had the most excellent stay! Matteo helped us navigate the train system to arrive, and set up a transfer for us to and from the B and B. The room was super clean, all the staff was amazing and so nice! He also helped us set up a boat tour. This is an amazing find, and I would most definitely come back!!!

Extremely disappointing!
The property did not offer many of the amenities listed. The room is not waterfront, but the small balcony and the window face the building across the street. The bed was a queen size, not a king one, and it was not accessible on one side, since it was stacked against the wall (which is also a safety hazard). The ceiling in the bathroom was so low that I could not stand straight. Breakfast was not served on the rooftop terrace, and there was no room service either. We were given instead a coupon for a coffee and pastry at a nearby coffee shop. Definitely not what we were expecting and paid for.

Mi dispiace per il vostro giudizio, ma evidentemente per il vs standard e le vostre aspettative forse avete sbagliato la tipologia di hotel. La stessa camera, che voi non avete apprezzata (bilocale tipico con muro in tufo e volta a botte), è stata invece tantissime volte elogiato e premiato con un 10. Avrei comunque potuto proporvi un'altra soluzione se me lo aveste comunicato, senza andar via come se vi avessi offeso!! Grazie e buona vita.

Perfect location and owner Matteo is incredibly helpful. Very clean and nicely decorated. Rooms quite compact but I think that’s quite usual for Polignano and they have everything you need. Would absolutely recommend

Wonderful time!!
Amazing location. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, a variety of local specialities, with a superb view of the city and sea. Don Matteo was very helpful and pleasant. I will definitely return and stay there.

Superb place to stay. Amazing places to eat nearby and close to the station. Matteo could not have been more helpful with advice for places to go,bus and train times, and booking boat trips. Breakfast was excellent and service great.

Great location, helpful host
Great location, very helpful host. Was able to message host on Whatsapp for advice on parking which was very helpful. He arranged secure parking just outside the town and then a golf buggy to transport to accomodation with luggage. Room was small but had a nice view and the town is so beautiful you won't want to stay in your room. Beautiful rooftop terrace for breakfast. Only downsides were that there was a very small shower and narrow staircase to lug luggage up to room.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the historic district of Polignano a Mare. The B&B was extremely clean and located perfectly within the area.I felt very safe whilst there. Breakfast on the top balcony was a beautiful start to the day.

Polignano a Mare is a beautiful place to visit with fantastic waters to swim in. It is very busy but there are plenty of restaurants and shops to cope. Tra le Mura was a fine place to stay in a central location. Matteo, the owner is a most pleasant, friendly and helpful host.

Matteo was extremely helpful and even arranged for us to be collected from the station. The property is in the old town and convenient for everything. It was very clean, the breakfast excellent and just a lovely place to stay.

I'd proposed you the room much large and with sea view, but you don't accepted because the cost was different. This room is for youg couples or singles.

Matteo (the owner) was absolutely fantastic! Very kind, warm and inviting. H espoke decent English and did everything he could to make our stay as comfortable and accomodating as possible. I would 10/10 recommend this beautiful B&B.

Easy walking distance from everything
Matteo was a gracious host--very accommodating and helpful. His restaurant recommendations were spot on. My room had a tiny balcony overlooking the small piazza, and there were colorful flowers on all the balconies. It was also very quiet; a welcome place to return to after walking all day.

A little bit disappointed
The hotel is in a great position, right near the old town and close to everything. However, the room I booked (and confirmed) was a two bedroom apartment. On arrival, we were advised that "as we were just 2 people we didn't need 2 bedrooms and they had given our room to a family". Although the manager was apologetic and tried to help, ultimately, they ended up putting us in a standard room with a double bed and a single bed in the same room. Disappointing as I had gone to some trouble to select this particular hotel specifically because it offered 2 bedrooms. Never-the-less,they discounted the rate to the standard room rate and the room was nice, it had a tiny balcony and possibly the worlds smallest shower. The little terrace on the top floor can be used by all guests and was a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink in the afternoon. The complimentary continental breakfast was excellent.

Would stay here again. Great location. Clean room. Very basic kitchen. A few wine glasses and a coffee maker would have been nice. But there is a bar downstairs and breakfast is served early.

At his is a lovely little B&B. Great location. Down side was our room was a little small. The host is a very helpful and friendly person. Breakfast was good. There are a lot of steps to negotiate - not a good if you have mobility issues.

Only problem we had was upon a arrival although the documentation, said someone would be at the desk from 8 am to 830 pm, there was no one there upon our arrival. We were told we were supposed to call 4th hours prior to our arrival and notify them of arrival time. It seems the manager felt he should be home having lunch rather than have someone cover for arrivals. A neighborhood to call him.

Ideal accommodations in Polignano a Mare
Tra le Mura is a real gem! Located right in the heart of Polignano, this B and B is comfortable and clean, and breakfast is delicious. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Being in the town's centre means that there is activity late into the night during the summer. This is very happy noise, and is outweighed by the fabulous location and comfort. I would return here in the future.

Matteo is fantastic and makes sure his guests are well taken care of. Tra la Mura is in the perfect location in Polignano a Mare and everything you need is within walking distance, including free parking! The rooms are exactly as shown and the hotel is maybe a 5 minute walk to the beach. It was perfect!

Matteo was an excellent host. Great communication before and during our stay. Thanks for allowing us to leave our luggage after check out and arranging the Riscio on arrival. The room and breakfast were wonderful and the location excellent.

Great bed and breakfast!
We had a lovely short stay at Tra le Mura. The owners are so kind and helpful, the rooms are sweet, clean and comfortable, and the rooftop terrace where they have breakfast is just lovely. This is a really great town, and we would have loved to spend more time there- definitely not a typical tourist hit-- which made it all the better for us. So much to do and see there (fabulous beach and restaurants!) without all the hustle. We would definitely stay there again!

Struttura con camere un po' troppo piccole, m a si comprende trattandosi di recupero effettuato in centro storico, con punto di forza della terrazza con prima colazione super all'aperto. Un grazie a Matteo che si è adoperato in tutti i modi possibili per rendere la nostra permanenza gradevole. Torneremo !

Mala experiencia, primero el anfitrion solicito que llegaramos a una hora despues de lo estipulado 17 hrs, por que era almuerzo de navidad, luego al insistirle que llegariamos a las 16 hrs nos dejó hacer self check in. Al aparecer le requerí que faltaba una cama tal como lo habia solicitado por la plataforma. El me indico que solo habia reservado 2 huespedes, es un error de la plataforma por que todo mi viaje reserve para 3. Sin embargo a el lo unico que le preocupaba era el pago por 3. El aseo de la habitacion nunca se realizó y el desayuno regular con la persona vigilando permanente siendo incomodo el desayunar. Una mala estadía

Buongiorno signora, mi faccia capire. Voi non vi siete presentati e io sarei pessimo??? C'è qualcosa che non va! Vi ho aspettato fino a mezzanotte e non siete arrivati perché avevate prenotata in 2 posti diversi (ho scoperto dopo). Mi avete dato buca. La camera è rimasta libera per i 2 giorni della vostra prenotazione. Dovreste chiedermi scusa e invece mi giudicate. Roba da matti!!!

Tra le mura est tres bien situé au coeur de la vieille ville. La chambre quadruple est atypique et sympatique. Tout est propre et fonctionnel. Il y a meme une kitchenette. Matteo est un hôte tres agreable et dévoué à notre bien etre. Merci Matteo ! Le plus du plus. La superbe terrasse avec vue sur mer pour un petit dejeuner buffet extraordinaire. Le meilleur moyen de commencer la journée. Bref on a adoré !
