Check in was a breeze with a coded door, the cabin was spacious with a fantastic layout that made for great together-time. Tons of snow in the yard, we did sledding and made snow men in the back yard. Fireplace was warm. Tahoe-Donner was five minutes away, grocery and restaurants 15 minutes away. The place was clean and we had plenty of space for 3 people. If it wasn't for the Coronavirus pandemic, we could have even shared it with another family. The house is well laid out, has a very functional kitchen, and plenty of space. It is walking distance to the Tahoe-Donner cross country ski center, which was nice for us. The only inconvenience is that the internet is slow and inconsistent. Good enough for checking email, but not really for working. The house had everything you needed. It has a modern feel with a rustic cabin feel and there was plenty of space to spread out. The main bathroom is completely upgraded and has a steam shower component to it which would probably be fantastic after a day of skiing. The deck is spacious and there's a charcoal BBQ if you want to grill your lunch/dinner. It's conveniently located and short drive to Squaw, and there's a very small gourment market nearby as well as Safeway. Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic home! ##### Miki W. That is my cue if it is a place I would like to attend. The pots and pans were beautiful. When cooking for your family it just makes it so much easier. The house itself was a mix of old and new. Floors, Entrance, Kitchen and Bathroom downstairs seem new and the rest of the house kind of old. The steam spa in the downstairs bathroom was perfect for after a good ski day. The biggest problem we had was with the wifi. It was very slow and hardly worked. Every time we did get it to work we had to resign in. Also it prevented us from watching movies on Netflix. We had no other way to watch movies unless we watched for the existing DVD stash. Overall we had a great stay, very cozy and comfortable house. The kids enjoyed the loft and their own space upstairs. Just really wish the tv and wifi could have worked better. ##### Judy P. There are, however, a few minor flaws which prevent me from giving a 5-star rating. First, Wi-Fi was unstable. Second, the living room gets very dark in the evening. Three of four bulbs right over the dining table were very dim; simply replacing them would solve the problem. Third, there was no remote garage opener, so that getting the car in and out was a clumsy procedure. Fourth, many of the closets and drawers were partly filled with the owners' stuff; it would have been better if these were locked to avoid the confusion.
