The first lower-floor bedroom features a queen bed, a 22” Smart TV, a large closet, and access to the lower-floor balcony, where you can step out to take in the forest views and fresh mountain air. A short drive or shuttle ride takes you to Northstar Resort, where you can enjoy year-round entertainment in the nearby Northstar Village. Northstar is also a fantastic family-friendly option, with an ice skating rink, movie theater, shopping, dining, and more to keep everyone in your group entertained. Or, make the 6-minute drive to the Northstar Golf Course for a day of golfing. Getting Around: The home is located just 2 miles from Northstar Ski Resort and is on a FREE shuttle line! Guests can download the Northstar app for easy access to the free dial-a-ride shuttle. There are also daily routes to and from Kings Beach and Truckee with TART (Tahoe Area Rapid Transportation). The closest bus stop, just over a mile from the condo at Northstar Village Gate #8, provides routes south to Kings Beach and north to Truckee. Several cab companies, as well as Uber and Lyft, operate in the area, though Uber and Lyft can be seasonal and scarce at times. Other Things to Note: Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Please note that the grill is only available in the summer months.
