I chose a sea side room and got a room with a small side window that you could kind of see some water. But the resort was beautiful. The pools amazing.

Expensive, and lacks attention to detail
We had a 2 night stay here before flying home following a 7 night cruise from Split. Yes, the hotel is directly under the flight path to Split Airport, but there is not much that the hotel can do about that. It is also next to a very busy and noisy road, and there is building work going on next door, so it is not exactly an oasis of calm! Despite all this someone had chosen to have what looked like a very expensive wedding here on the beach deck, the weekend we stayed. As a bride, or indeed a wedding guest, I would not expect to have to contend with crossing a busy road, jets flying over every 30 mins, walking across a public beach, and a Total Wipeout Course next to my wedding ceremony, but each to their own! What I would say is that for the price, which in my opinion is high, the hotel lacks the finish of a 5* hotel. The bathrooms are dated and require, if not updating completely, then attention to the grouting, which looks tired. On the plus side the restaurant is great, providing a good selection for breakfast, and lunch. Portions are plentiful and in contrast to the hotel it is reasonably priced as are drinks from the bar.

A/C in our room didn’t work, we came back to our room late at night after going for dinner, and room was at 25 degrees. Went and asked the front desk, and he was very insistent that I just dealt with it, and didn’t want to call maintenance since it was 11pm. He finally did after I was persistent, and the issue ended up being that the place didn’t maintain the A/C and the filters were clogged. It then took many hours to actually cool down the room. The room was nice, the property is nice, but the rude staff and lack of maintenance to the property didn’t make for a good experience.

Beautiful hotel with 2 pools and beach access. It is on the flightpath to the Split airport so planes go over low and frequently. Other than that, and my room not getting cleaned (which is a minor thing) , I would recommend and would stay here again if I go back to Trogir.

The cottage where we were guests, as well as all the hotel, is on the route of the aeroplanes landing at Split airport. Basically, after 5 AM forget to sleep! They claim soundproof rooms but maybe are good enough for the main road, certainly not for tens of landing aeroplanes.

The Brown was a great place to stay. We felt like we were truly on vacation. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was professional and friendly, and everyone spoke English, which was great, because my few words in Croatian weren’t going to get me far. The pool was lovely and relaxing with a picturesque view. It was easy to park and it was also easy to walk into the old and majestic town of Trogir. We will definitely come back to stay.

Beautiful property. Lacks details in maintenance.
An amazing property and some super helpful and resourceful staff. We stayed in 2 rooms. First one had no working overhead light. Second one had 2 burned out lights and we could not see into the closet. A mirror in the bathroom was also broken and missing. In the nicer room which was not available for us to stay in our additional two nights there was a coffee machine. Great. But 1 coffee pod for 2 people. Odd. Hotel seems to lack attention to details in the servicing and upkeep of the rooms. Also to note is a strange towel policy if you go to the pool. You must give a towel card to pick up a towel and then request a card when leaving the towel in a completely different location where no one is located if you plan to get a towel at a later time in the day or your stay. Sad to see details tarnish the property and otherwise amazing staff.

The property and rooms and beautiful and stylishly decorated but the basics of hotel management are completely lacking and the property location and amenities are absolutely not as advertised. It’s currently high season but the lobby is set up in the bar and the remaining large lobby and common area downstairs are used as a dumping ground with piles of pool floats, garbage bags, cleaning equipment and furniture cushions lying around. On checking into the 2 bedroom family room for a party of 4 we were disappointed to discover the largest suite in the property has only one bathroom and one sink. We went into Trogir for dinner and returned at almost midnight to discover the twin beds hadn’t been made prior to our checking and had only a top sheet covering the mattress (not sure if they were even fresh sheets). We called the front desk and a young man turned up with duvets and sheets and dumped them at the door of the room - leaving us to make up our own beds at a luxury hotel. We approached housekeeping to remedy in the morning but nobody had been told of our issue and the housekeeper arriving asking us what we’d done with the rest of the bedding. The property is called a Beach Hotel and listing shows chairs, umbrellas and water park on the beach but this was not the case. The property is across the main road into town from the public beach and the deck that once had beach amenities and is shown in the listing photographs is abandoned, rusted and waterlogged.

Fantastic hotel!
My girlfriend and I had an absolutely brilliant stay at Brown Beach House and we could not recommend it enough. We arrived early and were giving a welcome glass of Prosecco each while we waited for our room to become available. We were told that we’d been upgraded to a superior room with a rooftop hot tub which was such a brilliant experience and very luxurious. The hotel itself is in brilliant condition with everything being incredibly clean and well looked after. The breakfast was excellent and so too was the swimming pool. Overall the hotel is a must-stay if you’re in the area.

Beautiful property I’m excited to go back there and spend a little more time. There was some construction happening in front of the property but that’s only going to make it better in the future, adding a boardwalk along the water. The staff was friendly and super helpful. Restaurant was delicious and spa had everything.

This hotel is new and beautiful. Only stayed one night but wish it was more. Room was large for European standards and we had a private roof deck with a Jacuzzi and bali bed. The staff were very professional and arranged anything we needed include dinner recommendations and a taxi to the airport. It was a slight walk to the old town but the location was very quiet.

Customer service 10/10 .. the cottage is really claustrophobic. Surprised there is no TV .. rainy day so decided to stay to use the spa only. The spa and gym is ok.. sauna and jacuzzi. I don’t think it’s worth the price it is per night unfortunately.

This is one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed at! I spent the majority of my time here at the property, but ventured the 10 minute walk to Old Town in Trogir as well. The location was perfect and free parking was a big plus for me. The property and design are stunning - with beautiful sea views that are exceptional at sunset. Other amazing parts of this hotel are the unique pool and the delicious restaurant. I would love to stay here again someday and fully recommend this hotel to anyone travelling throughout Croatia.

At all was very good but i was extremely disappointed that the front desk suggested a tax to Split for 80 EUR when i said it seemed high he sadie uber would be 69EUR IUbet was 20 EUR and no hastle Felt like he tried to rip us off
