"This stay was not the experience I was hoping for. The extended stay served adults using the hotel as their home for a month at a time. It was not business professionals but more transient older adults. Some had cats living with them. Our room was not super clean (dirt and hair on the floor, purple marks in the cabinets, scratches on the floor from moving the beds). And the shower is not safe for a senior!!! It would have been better to stop at almost any place without a reservation compared to staying here. I thought I was saving a few bucks on a nice place (pictures looked great) but it was not a place I’d ever go back … unless I was homeless and needed a place to crash. "

"Overall it’s a nice hotel with a great central location. But that’s kind of where the good ended for us. The room was a bizarre layout with the sink at the foot of the bed instead of in the bathroom, the bathroom was extremely small which was very uncomfortable. And if we’re going to mention uncomfortable we should talk about the bed that was hard as a rock, made awful metal clanking sounds with any movement on one side and just overall was not good. The curtains didn’t stay closed which in a first floor room is very problematic (and the sheer curtains were not a solid sheer material but lace so no privacy). The pool area was filthy and the layer of dead skin on top of the hot tub was disgusting. Breakfast was fine."

"The smell was absolutely horrible - and it lingers on everything I had with me on the trip. Carpets were filthy & stained. Comforter & blankets had numerous old cigarette burns all over them. Mattress VERY old and worn out. There was a wooden block under my bed holding the middle of the sagging bed up. The upholstered chair was covered in stains. The towels were very small worn and scratchy. There were gross fingerprint sized globs of an unknown substance on the remote. I was supposed to be in a non-smoking room but the overwhelming smell of old cigarette burn was everywhere - in all the halls and entryways and throughout the room. The smell was so bad in the first room they gave me that I asked the front desk for another room. They were gracious about it and on inspection agreed that the cigarette smell was very stong & I did later see them bring fans into that room presumably to mitigate the smell. The second room still had a very bad smell that never got better. I picked this motel due to proximity to the venue I was attending. It was in a nice neighborhood that felt relatively safe and has great proximity to restaurants & shopping - but that in no way made up for the lack of c & smell. I have not yet been able to get horrible smell out of my luggage and gear. On the positive side - the shower had plentiful hot water and the shower curtain was clean and appeared new. I think it is just a very old property with furnishings and interiors far past their useable life."
