Everything you need is within a 5-10 minute drive. We were disappointed that the state of the lake was not communicated. We had informed the host that we had young kids and were interested in the swimming. While it was suggested to take the kayaks out to find good swimming spots, we didn’t know that we would be required to take kayaks out any time we wanted to swim. The lake is full of weeds and engulfed with lilly pads. The home and property are beautiful, new, clean and equipped with anything you would need. We ended up taking daily trips to the close by beach. Just wasn’t what we had envisioned for our family vacation. We didn’t want to pack up and leave every day. Everything you could need has been carefully thought out and is there for use. Even the cutlery made us say oh my god! lolDefinitely more like a dream home on the water compared to a cottage. Everything worked perfectly and the beds were so comfy. The back deck was our favorite spot with the gas fireplace and the view!Close 2nd was the small deck where we had our coffee at the water each morning. Catching fish was super easy! We caught sunfish whenever we wanted and at least a big bass a day. We cant wait to book again for next summer.
