Fabulous accommodation, perfect location, just below the Citadel! Beautiful suite, everything spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The old historic building has been renovated to the highest of standards. our host was perfect, very professional and helpful. He presented us with a FIVE STAR breakfast, ALL INCLUSIVE OF THE VERY REASONABLE PRICE. THANK YOU, WE WILL RETURN!

The place is similar to a bed and breakfast more than a typical hotel. Parking is off-site but there is parking close by. The place is close to the town center - plenty of dining and cafe options.

Just a lovely and unique property with a very special good feel. The grounds and shared balcony were added extras. The breakfast spread was home made and yummy. All great value for money too. We had dinner in the castle which was also very good.

A special stay
A stay in a very unique building with a large bedroom and adjoining facilities. Very convenient to the centre and historic sights. Street parking close by easy. Outstanding breakfast and attentive service.

It's a grand old house that's been lovingly restored. Lots of granite and timber. The service was very personal. It's worth visiting Braganca just to stay there.

Hard to find. There’s nothing outside to say it’s a hotel. Wooden floors mean anyone walking upstairs will create loud, disturbing sounds. Hot water takes forever to flow. A strange place. Feels like a haunted house at night.

Beautiful manor house centrally located
We received a warm welcome and were invit d to use the dining room for general use and access the fridge if we liked. The young man whisked our bags up to the first floor. The heating in our room worked very well.. while the balcony was gassed in it was cooler but fine for reading. There was a heater there if we had chosen to use it.The building was built in the 1700’s so was not centrlfly heated but was decorated in classic period.m

Room in historic building
Building itself is a restored palace located in the heart of the city's old quarter. Interior garden is pretty and very quiet. Short walking distance to the castle in one direction and the city center in the other direction. Parking is available around the corner. Room was a bit small because they have taken a room in the palace and added an interior wall to build an enclosed bath. Family that runs the hotel is VERY friendly and helpful. They clearly want to please. Continental breakfast is VERY generous. Definitely plan to stay there again on our next visit to Braganca.

Un peu abusé par les photos et les commentaires : c'est un joli bâtiment certes, mais un endroit austère, la chambre --à l'étage-- donnait sur un HLM. Et les voisins étaient peu discret. Accueil peu chaleureux, en outre. Bref, la situation est parfaite, mais j'ai été franchement déçu.

Una estancia maravillosa
Nos quedamos una noche. La habidaba al jardin. Amplia, comoda. El sitio lleno de detalles con mucho gusto. El desayuno es casero, abundante, tienen de todo: 4 tipos de meremkada casera, quesi, jamón cocido, fruta, café o infusiones, oasteles de nata .. Una delicia. Y son encantadores. Está cerca de todo y lo que no tienen es aparcamiento pero se puede aparcar cerca. Para repetir.

Palacete para dormir como reyes.
Fue una estancia extraordinaria, está situado en en el centro de la ciudad en un antiguo convento y después utilizado por un conde que lo vendió a un particular, tiene unos gardines propios de un palacio. Sólo tiene seis habitaciones y el desayuno es una maravilla tanto en calidad, cantidad y precio, merece la pena pedir la habitación con desayuno incluido.

An historic building, today hospitality
It’s a unique location, kept in a pristine state, for a relaxed atmosphere of domestic hospitality. There are a lot of don’t: they don’t speak English, they don’t have 24hr reception and so on, but this will make your stay more authentic.

Des attentes mais une forte déception
Nous avons été très déçu de cet hotel , le personnel est acceuillant mais la chambre ou nous étions était bruillante car donnant sur la rue , la wifi n'était pad effective dans la chambre , quand le voisin de la chambre au dessus marchait on avait l'impression qu'il était avec nous .Les fenêtres étant très hautes , aucune vue sur l'extérieur et impossible d'aérer la chambre .De plus la chambre étant près de la porte d'entrée , les gens rentrant le soir vers 1h / 2h du matin , ils parlaient a voie haute donc noud étions réveillés.

Nuit royale à Bragance.
Superbe bref séjour au pied du château de Bragance. Manuela et Luís ont transformé cet ancien couvent en endroit de charme. On se croirait dans une des meilleures pousadas, les hôtes, qui résident sur place, y ajoutant un supplément d'âme. Ne manquez pas la chapelle du premier étage. De l'espace, du confort, de la grande propreté.
