"Excellent property with a large, comfortable, clean room. Loved the location in Townsend, the peaceful side of the Great Smokey Mountains! Access to the national park was quick and convenient. We loved our stay here and enjoyed excellent coffee at the Artistic Bean and dinners at The Abbey and Peaceful Side Social, all within walking distance from the property."

"Everything seemed on the cheap. Breakfast was put out in small amounts every day we had to ask for something, no pool towels, no cleaning until after 5, no replacement on towels, sheets were so thin I thought the pillow cases weren't on. Toilet wobbled like it wasn't set properly same with sink. The room was very clean, but walkways and common areas weren't."

"Standard hotel, room ok. The room seemed clean enough but had a funny smell (maybe odd cleaning fluids). Beeakfast was lacklustre no fruit or yogurt, but functional."

"Hotel was close to Cades cove which was nice but that’s where it ends . The hotel desperately needs upgrading . The bed was as hard as a rock and our bodies hurt so bad for a few days after . The pillows need upgraded desperately! The coffee is terrible but it is included so it is what it is . 150 plus on a week night for a room from 1970’s if that’s your thing then this is the hotel for you . Staff was friendly "

"Wow! What a cute, cozy little cabin. The place was extremely comfortable, clean, and dressed adorably. The owner was extremely kind. The cabin is close to some super cool outdoor activities like Cades Cove and Tuckaleechee caverns. I would definitely visit here again. "

"What a peaceful, comfortable stay! We wanted to experience the Great Smokey Mountains National Park and not the tourist trap of nearby areas. Townsend and this cabin were perfect for what we were seeking. We were able to hike daily in the National Forest, visit the Townsend museums & visitor centers, go to Tuckaleechee Caverns (highly recommend), go to Maryville and visit the History Museum and Cades Cove museum, connect with people that are direct descendents of the history of the area. Although we are not golfers, someone told us about the views at Wild Laurel Golf Corse just minutes from the cabin, so, we went there to the tavern and soaked in the sunshine and the view. Don’t pass this cabin up if you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful vacation. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. When we come back to the Smokey’s, we will stay here again."

"Very peaceful. Secluded but just a short drive to activities 1,000 % recommend Will be going back atleast yearly "
