Town of Diana Holidays

The building is older and it shows. Our room was overall not very clean. The floor is vinyl and had not been mopped. The bathroom sink was cracked and there was dirt and staining in the bathroom walls. The bathroom outlets were severely discolored as if they’d overheated previously. There was dirt and debris in all corners of the room and bathroom. The building reeked of marijuana. We booked for two nights but only stayed one due to a family issue. If we had been in town another night, we would have changed hotels. Staff, on the other hand, was wonderful. Friendly, attentive, helpful. The front desk staff was constantly finding things to do to try to enhance guest stay, tidying up, etc. I wish I had gotten her name. She was wonderful.

Not clean

It’s a fairly nice building, the location is convenient for me, and the price is relatively low. They don’t clean the carpets, surfaces, or linens well but at least I haven’t found cockroaches or bedbugs, and the bathroom was acceptably clean. They are skimpy on the linens, soaps etc and the only coffee available was two bags of decaf but no way to prepare it. If you have business in it around Watertown, are mainly interested in a cheap bed, and don’t mind some hair and crumbs then this is the place for you.

My son and daughter-in-law and their child stayed in the room and there was a leak from the air conditioner that made the carpet extremely wet. They told the staff at the front desk a number of times but nothing was ever done. They stayed for a week and avoided the wet area.
