Hotel is very dated and needs refurbishment but the food was excellent and staff very friendly.
Only one swimming pool so went to beach which is literally over the road but you have to pay for the sun beds. Glad we went early as a vast influx of people checked in on the last few days!!
The entertainer Joshua was amazing with the kids and all round entertainment, he single handed did ALL the entertainment from morning to night and did not have a single day off in the two weeks we stayed.
One negative was the beds and pillows which were very uncomfortable.
Just returned from a brilliant holiday in Torremolinos having stayed at Hotel Sol Don Pablo.
This is an excellent 4* beach front hotel in a lovely part of Torremolinos and is a great place for family break with or without kids! There's loads to do during the day with very good and varied entertainment at night. Its very clean, in a great location and the food is to a very high standard. I would highly recommend Hotel Sol Don Pablo for a great holiday!

Wi-Fi - Free Wi-Fi used to be available only in the bar area which was poor, but this has just changed and it is now available throughout the hotel which is a great bonus.
Friendliness of staff - very good
Hotel surrounded by high rise residential properties. I should imagine the pool area would be shade even at the height of Summer. Difficult to find parking even in January, hotel parking (self parking) at 13€ per day plus 20€ deposit for the key. Breakfast - Machine coffee and artificial orange juice. Overall a pleasant stay but I think the hotel star rating should be 3 stars.
2nd time at the Isabel & nice to see its had a little facelift since the last time. As usual our room was cleaned well everyday by the cheery cleaning staff who worked hard & we're very thorough. The pool's a nice size & always a sunbed available. Only drawback was there never seemed enough staff to cover the inside bar but we only asked for a drink once or twice. Complimentary towels at reception and the refreshing melon slices brought round was a nice touch. If you pay for a sea-view room it's well worth it but request a higher floor if you can :)
Rooms were great, large and new, white clean & spacious
Food for breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had
Pool a little busy - but beach a couple of steps away
Party bar has fun entertainment and great music
Staff very helpful and friendly
Hotel is located right on the lovely beach and near to a fantastic marina. Shame about jelly fish in the sea which put us of spending time down there.
Staff at hotel were not very helpful when I asked for help to check in on line the evening before are flight home . It had put the dampers on are holiday and we got stressed out over this . We eventually got it sorted at 03.00 a.m !! With the lovely night staff .
Hotel situated on the beach, very well located near the main attractions of the area of leisure, such as packages of …More
There is more than meets the stereotype to this Anglo-centric seaside resort. While most of Torremolinos is a brash high-rise heaven for fun-loving Brits, the low-rise western part is patronised by the Spanish and has a very different character. Soft golden sands stretch either side of town and there is a huge choice of entertainments by day and night. Aquapark is a white-knuckle water world; Tivoli World is the region’s major theme park.
