Lovely hotel with well kept grounds and excellent pool areas. More than enough sun loungers for guests use.
Excellent choice of food in restaurant and pool bar. Rear gate exit made easy access to beach and bars.
We chose this hotel because of its location, away from the centre of Torremolinos yet close to Malaga airport. The hotel staff were helpful . We also dined in the hotel restaurant- very good value- on the terrace.
the first night our room was to the rear & on the ground floor. The room was good but the position was poor. However we were able to move the next day to a side/ sea view on the first floor, which was fine. The hotel was spotless & the breakfasts were really good.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very nice hotel with friendly staff, though could do with some updating, our shower wouldn't sit in holder so had to shower holding shower in one hand. Beds were very hard, good selection at breakfast.
We stayed at Parasol Garden for 5 nights in June and had a fab time. Hotel staff were very friendly and there was plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The hotel is right next to the beach and there's plenty of restaurants nearby. It's a bit of a walk from the town centre though so we got a taxi in at night for about €10. Overall it's a great hotel!
The best feature of the hotel is the food. Staff are helpful and speak several languages. The pool is always busy and it's impossible to get a chair.Entertainment ok but nothing special. there is a bar inside the complex which should be for adult only after 11pm. Kids are still there until 2 am and they make it impossible to have a play of pool, which is inside the bar.
The location is really good and close to the station, which has train that take you to Malaga airport in 10 minutes.
We enjoyed our stay at the Sol Principe. The room was large with two sleeping areas separated by a bathroom in the middle – it had obviously been refurbished recently and was clean and comfortable. We overlooked the pool which was a bit loud at night if you were in the room as the stage was nearby, however, it didn’t bother us as it never went on too late and we only stayed in 2 nights (as my son fell asleep early). The staff weren’t very helpful in terms of how to get to local attractions but the lady at the tourist office was (reception staff told us that we had to get a taxi to the butterfly park when in fact 4 buses went there). The selection at breakfast was very good. The pool areas were clean and the pool was large enough to be by ourselves as a family.
The hotel is located across the beach. We had a room on the 9th floor with a beautiful view. Watching the sunrise from the balcony was a lovely experience. The staff was helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant offers a buffet that was nice. My only complaint is that most of the fruit available was from a can. The breakfast includes an egg station. It was so nice to see they use organic eggs with the beautiful deep orange yolk. Delicious!
The restaurants alongside Paseo Maritimo where the hotel is located, cater to tourist. The food doesn't taste like typical Spanish food, which I thought it was a shame. If you want to experience real Spanish style cuisine, the restaurants in town or in Malaga are your best bet. The prices are cheaper too. There is a Tourist office by the beach with lots of useful information.
There is more than meets the stereotype to this Anglo-centric seaside resort. While most of Torremolinos is a brash high-rise heaven for fun-loving Brits, the low-rise western part is patronised by the Spanish and has a very different character. Soft golden sands stretch either side of town and there is a huge choice of entertainments by day and night. Aquapark is a white-knuckle water world; Tivoli World is the region’s major theme park.
