    Our perfect hotel!

The Lincombe Hall Hotel is everything a holiday hotel should be. Without exception, the staff are friendly & helpful. Our (superior) room was huge, beautifully decorated with a sea view, comfy bed & amazing pillows! Breakfast is served in the airy spacious dining room. Good choice of hots & continental with additional chargeable dishes. There is a film shown every night, well stocked bar & live entertainment several evenings. Ample free parking & a very short walk down to the town centre. Plus an outdoor heated pool & jacuzzi & no children! Highly recommended!

    Absolutely Perfect

Absolutely loved this hotel, Could not fault anything. Had dinner in the restaurant which was 5 star and breakfast was also great. Just loved the vibe this hotel and will definitely be back for a longer stay as the only thing we didn't like we didn't stay long enough.

    Torquay hotel

The hotel is OK, mainly serving an older crowd. Spa facilities being refurbished during my stay. Breakfast had lots of variety but food was distinctly average in quality. Very hot in room and no way to individually control heat. Nor was it possible to open windows much as there is a mechanism that prevents it. The room was OK, good size, a little old fashioned and tired but comfortable. Location is good, close to main centre, but an uphill walk back which some may find challenging. The grounds are large and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful.

    lovely stay

Lovely hotel with beautiful decor and furnishings. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good. No issue at all with building works. This will be superb when Spa finished. Only downside is it’s hilly location which is typical for Torquay and the bedroom was a little too warm.

    4/5 Good

The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good. We didn’t like our room, no way was this a four star room, it was dated, dark, smelt of damp and unfortunately for us, even though we had been informed of the building work we didn’t think we would have been allocated a room so close to the actual work. The smell of the exterior paint was overpowering. I don’t think this particular room should been in use while the building working is being undertaken. As we were only staying for a couple of days and the weather was great we only slept in the room, so we didn’t complain. I expect a four star hotel to provide a certain level of room satisfaction and feel I should not have to be put in a position were I need to complain. It’s great that they are spending 2.1 million on the new spa, but maybe some money and attention should be given to the west wing.
