Not great.

Posted 01-Feb-2017
Not as bad as one might expect given the odd mall location.... but not great either. Noise can be heard from hall/adjacent rooms very easily. Air conditioner face was falling off and had some fluid leaking/dried all over it. Had a jacuzzi suite but somehow they forgot a shower curtain in the separate shower??? The tod was there but no curtain so every time you bathed water got everywhere... Asked for a late checkout but was woken early anyway by a Chinese housekeeper (literally) screaming in the hallway outside our door for 5+ mins until we opened the door in anger to ask her to stop screaming. Only good thing was an on-site massage spa. Won't be back.

Close to all amenities Downtown Chinatown

Posted 10-Jan-2017
Pros: The fact that they let me have my room really early as I was exhausted.
Cons: Maybe just a coat of paint.
Location: Close to Chinatown and restaurants. Short walk to the major stores.
With very little sleep and arriving on 8:30am in the morning, the best I could hope for was to leave my bags at the hotel and look around for a few hours. Pleasantly surprised when the front desk kindly said my room was ready and that I could also have breakfast. The room was clean and spacious overlooking the main street at the start of Chinatown but very quiet. A few little cracks and bumps but everything worked and was pleasant to the eye. The staff were all extremely nice and helpful. A few short blocks to all the main shops and Malls. Would recommend and definitely stay again. Cherry

Great location

Posted 10-Jan-2017
Cons: Toilet not clean.
I chose hotel because of proximity to a conference but was pleasantly surprised to find it also close to great food, Fashion District and OCAD (with view of cool Alsop extension from my room). Good wireless. Control over heat was great--I cranked up the heat after coming back when it was windy and way below freezing.

Good location

Posted 09-Jan-2017
Clean and comfortable. Lobby smells of chinese food but room was clean and no odor. Streetcar stop right outside south bound worked well for us. Only concern is $100 deposit that you dont get back for 5 days and no receipt from hotel to prove you didnt use the phone or parking. Continental breakast is bare minimum no fruit. Breakfast room was clean and had big screen TV. Price was right thru Expedia. Might consider paying more next trip to get better amenities.

Adequate hotel near Toronto Western

Posted 27-Dec-2016
Stayed 2 nights . Entrance from street looks a bit sketchy but the elevator takes one to the lobby where it's a normal hotel. Lots of breakfast, very helpful staff, very quiet( I was there Tuesday and Wednesday ). It was not expensive and it's an easy walk to Toronto Western. There is a streetcar right outside that takes you to and from union station for $3.25 so one can take the train to Pearson Airport .
