Nice hotel

Posted 28-Jul-2016
Pros: Location
Very nice hotel in Chinatown, Toronto. I was skeptical at first but I enjoyed my stay there. It is close to many of attractions in downtown Toronto. The hotel is undergoing renovation. The rooms are nice. We had a view of the CN Tower. If I visit Toronto again I will definitely book this hotel.

The hotel was easy to get to, thought the front desk could be a little better marked , the staff were very polite and helpful. Everything we needed to do was just a walk away. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The paper work ie thing to do or see could have been more up to date. We had a nice experience there. Expedia thanks for your help. Keep up the good work.

Not very expensive hotel in the heart of Chinatown

Posted 24-Jul-2016
Pros: Having a complimentary breakfast that you can have before you head out is great.
Location: It is in the centre of Chinatown. The trolley is just outside the door which you can hop on to go anywhere downtown.
It was a place to stay in Toronto that we had never stayed before. Not sure how I felt at first. The fact that they offer a complimentary breakfast and have the trolley outside the door is a plus.

Good if you're just going to sleep

Posted 18-Jul-2016
Pros: The location.
Cons: The breakfast food and work on having more light in the rooms.
The hotel is undergoing some renovations and we had a newly renovated room so that was nice. Our room 8342 was extremely small and overlooked the indoor mall so it was very dark in our room as there was no natural light at all. The TV remote didn't work, one of the lamps didn't work and we couldn't set the time on the clock radio. Sure there was new carpet, paint and bathroom updates but the furniture and bed were old. Breakfast was carbs, carbs and more carbs. No meat or any proteins. Bagels, bread, muffins & make your own waffles. There were 3 kinds of cereal. Breakfast food was disappointing. We were there for a concert so we didn't really spend much time in there but if we had to it would have been uncomfortable. Compared to other hotels in the City, it was one of the cheapest. TTC right outside the door and of course you can walk to alot of places which is good.

Zentral gelegen . Zimmer in gutem Zustand. Einzige wirkliche Einschränkung war das schlichte Frühstück in billigem Ambiente gekrönt von Plastiktellern und Plastikbesteck.

Practical hotel located in Chinatown Toronto

Posted 14-Jul-2016
Pros: Location, Nice Staff, Great Chinese Massage, Good bed
Cons: Rooms are getting dated. Buy new sheets that fit King Size beds.
Location: Walking distance to loads of attractions downtown and on a main tram line so easy access to Yorkville and Union Station.
This was my second stay at this hotel and I must say I was quite disappointed. It is a very basic hotel with a very practical location on Spadina between Dundas and Queen. However, I had bathroom issues that weren't fixed within the day, problems with cleanliness of bathroom and they were having renovations very close to my room... so very noisy... especially since I was right next to the vending machine and ice machine.

Super 8 Downtown Toronto

Posted 12-Jul-2016
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: Cleanliness.
The reviews on Expedia were mostly quite good however, I would suggest staying away from the 5th floor, where I was booked. The view of the room I was booked into consisted of a rooftop with broken beer bottles, pigeons, broken air-conditioners are various other odd items. Now, if close the curtain, not a problem. The carpet in the room had a perfect burned iron emblem burned into it, the bathroom needs work - including new caulking around the tub and could have been cleaned better. The mattress on the bed was terribly hard. Checking in is weird - you need to go to the 3rd floor of this 5 story hotel which can confuse some people.

Good location

Posted 03-Jul-2016
The location of the hotel was great - right in the heart of chinatown and near Kensington market. Hotel needs a big and good clean up. Had a fire alarm in the middle of the night, reason was a filfy sensor. We didnt try the incl. breakfast - was too crowded every day. So overall it was ok - but we will not book this hotel again. Tip go to NüBagel and get some fresh bagels.

My parents and I were enjoy this experience, but when we prepared to take shower, there is no shower nozzle except a tube. And the staff who is a white girl immediately handle it. It is better to double check each room before consumers check in.
