Service and facilities brilliant. Lovely place to visit with good walks and facilities within a short distance.
There was a bit of noise on our last morning pretty early from other guests but nothing preventable by the property.
Very nice place to stay. Dianne is a super host. We had just done the NC500 and wanted to visit Balmoral Castle on our way home to Nottingham. Was ideal location to stay. The room was lovely and the breakfast was great. Good value for money.
Diane was there to meet us and provided a warm welcome. The breakfast was excellent. Diane was a great host and provided us valuable advice on attending the Lonach Highland Games. Thanks to Diane, we had an extremely memorable experience.
Very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast & good value. Unusual to have a separate bathroom even though it was exclusively mine. Spacious room although a bit rickety.
Absolutely wonderful comfortable stay. The owners could not do enough for you and all the finishing touches, from fresh milk for tea in the room to beautifully cooked breakfast.
Great wee find and so peaceful. Our wee Westie, Maz, was made to feel exceptionally welcome!
Bed really comfy and brekkie was superb.
Diane, our host, was very down to earth and nothing was too much trouble for her.
We will be back 😁
Received a very warm welcome from the host, Dianne. My room was lovely. Had everything I needed for a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent, especially the freshly baked bread every morning. Kept me full, so I didn't really need lunch. Super comfy bed.
Our stay was fantastic! very clean rooms with all covid precautions in place. Hugely welcoming, room was so cosy and comfy with a lovely big bath. Breakfast was amazing with home made bread. These guys go the extra mile to make your stay simply brilliant.
Well located in the village. Friendly welcome although contact was limited because of COVID. Room was comfortable and in good condition. No cooked breakfast at the moment but this was more than made up for by a really excellent and substantial continental breakfast delivered to room. Tremendous value. Definitely recommended.

Thank you so much and trust all went well with your forward journey. Dianne
Very friendly welcome and freshly refurbished room. The breakfasts give a choice and quality that is not usually found in a guest house. Tomintoul itself is a small village with plenty of things to do or see but remember quite a few of them are seasonal so either do your research or just phone Diane and check - she’s very knowledgable about what’s on in the area
Diane was such a welcoming host. A great B&B to explore the Cairngorms National Park. Quaint and clean with a nice breakfast - the homemade soda bread was a nice touch :)
Friendly, very helpful, welcoming. Comfortable room and bed with tea service. Fabulous hot breakfast with fruit, cereals, bread. Old history and charm added to the enjoyment. Good wi-fi.
Beautifully appointed family room with plenty of space, Dianne was an excellent host, warm and welcoming with great tips and local share. Super breakfast!
A wonderful place to spend the night after a long day of driving, and an excellent breakfast in the morning! We wish we could have spent more time there, but had to be on the road the next morning. It's a beautiful little town too, with several good options for dining in the center. It's nice being able to walk everywhere, too!
The room was very inviting as was the hostess. I wish we had stayed longer. We arrived in the area on a whim but, thanks to this experience, I'd be happy to return.
