The best things about this hotel are the rooms are large and the bathroom is very good. However, this is really not a hotel. No one is there. One gets codes to enter and has to email to get answers to questions. Email response is only available from 9:30am-6:30pm, and hotel can take hours to respond. The hotel also says shoes are "Strictly Prohibited." People should know this in advance. The slippers available are tiny -- too small for most American men. There were only 4 hangers in the room. I asked for more and was denied. The beds, are short and very firm, and the pillows are terrible. Clean towels are not provided. There is a washing machine in the room, but it's in Japanese. There's a booklet with English instructions, but I hesitated to try it since I didn't want to have a problem and not have anyone available to fix it. Further, one has to air dry the towels so they would not be soft and fluffy. There are no luggage racks in the room so unless one wants to use the desk or small table, one has to put your luggage on the floor. The only drawers are by the kitchen sink and in the bathroom. The location is so-so. It's a 5-10 minute walk from a rail line that only goes to Shinagawa in Tokyo regularly so if one wants to go anywhere else, one pays 2 fares. There's a small grocery store near the station, but it doesn't have a good selection. We couldn't get a healthy breakfast cereal there.
