Nice Hotel in general, though a little pricey.

Posted 22-Jul-2016
Pros: It's location as well as the room.
Cons: The wi-fi access requires me to log-in again and again every time I reconnect to the wifi, which gets a little inconvenient sometimes.
Location: Restaurants,Arcade(Club Sega),Shopping Mall(Parco,Keio Mall,etc)
The hotel was excellent, especially the location, with a street full of restaurants and Yodobashi Camera only a street away, and the train station relatively close. There are all sorts of shops close by without needing to travel too far if you wish to do so,but also has plenty of nice restaurants a small walk away. Shinjuku Station is also close to most of the other major stations with interesting places like Akihabara,Shibuya,Harajuku,Nakano Broadway,Ikebukuro.

Great Place to stay and Great country to visit.

Posted 14-Jul-2016
Pros: Easy access to train station, shops and restaurants. The free shuttle bus to Disneyland. The Convenience Store. THe size of the rooms.
Cons: We didnt have coffee or English tea in our rooms as other hotels do.
Location: See above
We travelled as a family of four. The Keio Plaza Hotel is a great place to base yourself in Tokyo. The rooms were of a large size (23m2), very large for Tokyo and the location was perfect. There was an airconditioned underground walkway at the back of the hotel which lead directly into the Shinjuku train station. This is a very large station where most of the train lines leave from, so easy access to anywhere you wish to visit. There were many good, cheap, restaurants up the road and a few 7/11's around the hotel. THe hotel had an excellent convenience store available almost 24/7 with very reasonably priced food including sushi, noodles ect which they heat for you. The Metro Govt building is across the road with a free viewing platform for Mt Fuji and Tokyo. The only thing guests need to be aware of, which you will not be used to, is you need to pay a fee to use the hotel pool. The hotel has a free bus to Disneyland/Disneysea which is a bonus, but be aware to bok early. I would highly recommend this hotel. THe staff were extremely polite and eager to help in any way they could.

Location, location, location...

Pros: Basement bakery, large room, cool toilet/bidet/heated seat
Cons: The tub needs a good plumbing clean up to make the water flow down efficiently and to remove that faint musty smell.
Location: The subway, shopping centres, restaurants, laundry facilities are all within ten minutes.
We enjoyed staying at this hotel for its location and comfort. The airport limo stopped right in front of the hotel, and the return trip to Narita was equally convenient.it We booked the free shuttle to and from Disney Sea and appreciated the convenience of that. We tried the lunch buffet at the Glass Court and thought it was worth the cost and 10 per cent discount for hotel guests to taste the food array and have the opportunity to try many dishes and desserts. The subway was 5-10 minutes away. Many restaurants and cafes surround the hotel. We used Wash and Fold laundry which was a ten minute walk and were impressed by the low cost and pick up option. The room was spacious, and the view was lovely. As a mom and daughter duo on our first visit to Tokyo, our initial apprehension of being in a new city quickly dissolved because of the location, convenience and proximity of this hotel to all things necessary for a tourist. The hotel was a little pricey, but as first time visitors, we were glad the other positives made up for that.

Disney good neighbour hotel

Posted 12-Jul-2016
Overall experience is 4*, would have been five star if all the staff are as helpful as the concierge. One of the staff who we approach to ask for the direction to Mount Fuji, was rather rude and unhelpful. But other than that the other hotel staff we encounter are nice and endearing people.

Great hotel

Posted 11-Jul-2016
Our first hotel in Japan and it was great. The hotel was large and in a good location within Shinjuku it was quiet yet close to transport and shops. All staff were nice and helpful. When one of us was sick they organised a doctor at a nearby clinic who spoke English. The room was a little small but this is to be expected in Tokyo. Would definitely stay there again.
