The staff were highly accommodating, and the gardens between the hotels were extremely well kept and very beautiful. With close proximity to Shinagawa station it made travel throughout the city and out of the city very easy. We will definitely stay at the Grand Prince again!

It was a lovely stay at the hotel. We stayed 1 night and loved the staff and service. The garden was so zen and it was very nicely decorated for Cherry Blossoms.

The Gardens were exquisite and we happened to catch the cherry blossoms in full bloom. At night there are lights to enhance the experience of the gardens. Fantastic.

Very nice hotel, easily walkable to Shinagawa station, helpful staff. Beautiful garden in back with yoga on Sunday morning. Quiet and a large room. We liked the lounge access for tea, snacks, drinks and breakfast. Close (walkable) to good restaurants (especially the chicken place ) but you need reservations on weekends which we forgot to do so instead we ate on site at the French (continental) restaurant which was casual, fast, tasty food, service and well priced. We would definitely return to this hotel even though it was expensive but maybe less so if you make reservations in advance.

The amenities in the room were good. A brush, toothbrush with toothpaste, 2 bath salt, wash cloth, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Slippers and bathrobe also but I didn’t know the bathrobe was in the drawer so I didn’t use it.

The stay was nice, but overstimulating if you want to relax. There are many properties connected, and it’s a bit confusing. The staff members are fine, but I would not consider them friendly. It is a good spot if you’re on business but maybe not for vacation.

The staff were good and the property was clean but it is DATED. For spending almost 600 USD and booking a suite, we would have expected more. The restaurants on-site close early so if you want to get food, check in at 1500. Not the greatest overall.

The Grand Prince Takanawa was a great pick for a first time visit to Tokyo. The hotel itself is great, and the area around it is fairly residential, but offers some amazing restaurants like Danta. A five minute walk to Shinagawa station means you have access to the entire city, and if you’re feeling adventurous are only an hour long walk to Shibuya, Harajuku and Tokyo proper.

The staff was excellent and super helpful from day one. Even if you need to get a taxi, the ladies were there to even run to wave for taxi to see them. Will stay there again, clean and odorless.

Everything about this hotel was absolutely wonderful and the staff was incredibly helpful as well. I would NOT recommend the in room massage service as it was the worst massage I’ve ever received. Lots of poking in areas that was not actually a muscle. If you avoid the massage everything is great! I shipped my heavy luggage to my next hotel that was far away. Just keep in mind it takes a day to get to the destination.
