Had a good night sleep and enjoyable stay at this property. Rooms are clean and quiet, althoug a bit older and quite small. Which is to be expected in Tokyo. Do not be swayed by the location or the presence of love hotels in the area. These are reputable esablishments. There are many great hidden dining gems in the area. The supermarket below has a fantastic selection of alcohol at great prices.

Pretty average
Not the best stay, pretty average including reception, the room and the food. The reception staff are unfriendly and did not make me feel welcome. They contunued to chat amongs rhemselves and just pointed to me what i needed.

Properly didn't feel safe. Overpriced for what it was, not of typical standard for Candeo hotels. Cheap, tacky, outdated rooms akin to 1060s. Everything was dirty but plastic. Bathroom was strange - elevated above room, small, and leaked. Visibly dirty. Hotel was unconcerned when we raised issues. Clearly have enough demand for it not to matter, perhaps? Really wasted out money staying here. Near a tube line, but far enough out that when combined with travel costs we definitely didn't save anything.

This is a very outdated hotel, definitely not 4 stars, dirty marks everywhere on walls, stink bathroom. Would never come back here

Convenient location, good value
Very convenient for a short stay in Tokyo. Close (~200m) to Uguisudani Station on Yamanote line which is only one stop from Nippori (for Skyliner to/from Narita Airport) and Ueno stations.

After checking out, I realized I had left a necklace behind. The staff retrieved it for me and I recovered it. Outstanding! Thank you! The facilities are standard, but the location is down-market and a considerable walk from Ueno itself.

Convenient and comfortable
Comfortable stay for solo travellers, families or couples. Highly recommended if you are using the Yamanote Line. The hotel is situated near the Uguisudani station. Access to all areas is great.

Incredibly clean. We stayed during the Covid-19 outbreak. The hotel stopped buffet breakfast to reduce risk of spreading and were very good at issuing refunds immediately when I decided I didnt want the set menu, no issues. The staff were helpful and friendly. Room was very clean. Shower was lovely too.

The front desk operation was very smooth, the room had more space than hotels in the area, accidentally booked a smoking room but the smell was minimum, very pleasant, very close to the station too.

Bathroom has a bit more space than many I have stayed in Tokyo. It's a nice hotel to stay. 3mins walk to the train station on the Yamanote line.

We lost our luggage on the public bus and the friendly staff did their best to find it. Luckily for us, we found our luggage thanks to their help. Best hotel, best staff. Thankyou!

Extremely Disappointing
I’m as disappointed with your service as well! Tried to get ahold of you.. you didn’t return my messages. You booked me an extra day that I paid for. You booked a smoking rm for two people. I booked a non smoking for 1 person. The hotel had a blackout which they did not leave me a notice for which shut down the elevators on the day I was checking out! I would like a refund for April 15th for a night I had to fly out! If you can do that it will change my review about hotels.com

The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from Uguisudani station. The area is pretty safe and quiet, despite there being a lot of love hotels nearby. Breakfast buffet is okay. Beds are comfortable. The room size is standard for Tokyo standards. We had two big suitcases and had enough room to move around. My main complaint would be the air conditioner. It either didn't work or wasn't able to make the room cool enough.

Staff was very helpful, breakfast was excellent, rooms were smelly, first room smelled badly of stale smoke, bed and pillows were like rocks, proximity to JR Yamanote line was fairly good, area was not nice at all and was amongst Tokyo’s love hotels. Would not stay in this location again.

Nice hotel close to supermarket and transport
Small clean room in a convient location with a supermarket downstairs and another one across the street. A couple of minutes walk to the nearest JR station and Ueno is just one stop away. There are a few places to eat nearby. The hotel has luggage minding option if your plane is later on in the day after checkout.
