"Nice foreigner-oriented hotel in a quiet district"
I found the hotel through recommendations from a friend, who point out one very big advantage over the usual business hotel chains in Japan (Toyoko Inn, Super Hotel, etc.): a washing machine/dryer in your own room. That sure is appealing. The hotel located a bit far away from Shibuya proper (on the edge of Dogenzaka district), though it is only 10 minutes walk from the station. Along the way, you can find all sorts of restaurants, bars, convenient stores, even adult entertainment, catering to most of what you might need. It is on a quiet, well lit business district street, away from most of the hustle and bustle. There is a 24 hour supermarket (Maruetsu, open even on New Year's Day!) right across the street, which is very convenient for getting fresh fruit (usually a hassle in Japan). Rooms are well furnished and reasonably spacious for Tokyo. Along with the washer, there's an induction stove with frying pan, kitchen knife and utensils. You can probably cook your meals in the room without ever bothering anyone else. Service is very good, front staff are friendly and helpful. Their command of English varies, but basic communication are no problem. You can get amenities like razor, shower cap, cotton swabs and the like at the front desk. For ladies, the hotel provide an amenities pack with Shiseido skin care products. There's a coffee machine at the lobby all the time. They even gave you a free pouch of washing detergent at check in!

"Great inexpensive for short stay!"
Stayed for 2 nights, Very comfortable room, and really affordable. 20 min walk to Shinjuku station, or 5 min walk to Shin-Okubo station which will take you to Shinjuku - Harajuku - Shibuya on the JR line. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very basic but not too many complaints considering the price of stay. I will definitely stay here again.

"Choose depending on your needs"
Expectations of this place should be carefully based on the balance of previous reviews and choose it if it really suits your needs, keeping in mind its cons. Pros - quiet location and good accessibility to subways (but expect to change lines a few times to get to places), some added amenities including microwave, stove, washer (and maybe dryer, but controls are all in Japanese; also no really kitchen bench so very limited usefulness to the stove). Cons - tricky to find (examine maps carefully before going there), stairs up which luggage needs to be hauled up, small area (but larger than a comparable hotel room), clean overall but can become messy pretty quick and servicing is not consistent (cleaners came on 4th day, then 6th day after that despite their note saying every 4 days), not much view. Overall we were satisfied as it met our needs better having a toddler and needing to do regular washing, but it was a compromise and a hotel is a lot less effort.

"Nice hotel, next to the metro. "
The front desk staff was very helpful, and professional. They provided all information needed to navigate around Tokyo. The shuttle heading to Haneda airport was available next door. Great experience overall, except my fiancé and I will probably upgrade to a bigger room. The service was impeccable.

"Great Budget Stay"
This was a great budget stay in Tokyo. I stayed in a small single room for approximately a week. The room was at ground level (F1) so it didn’t have a great view, but for the location and price I was okay with this. The room itself was very tired but fairly clean even if the general condition wasn’t great. I didn’t want to stay in a shared hostel room, so this was a nice option. The bathroom was small, but had lots of hot water! The bed was a single and a bit harder than a lot of Western beds, but I still slept very well. It wasn’t noisy at all- even if I could hear a neighboring TV from the hallway, I didn’t hear anything inside my own room. The room I was in (104) had free wifi (fairly strong) in the room, a kettle, microwave, mini-fridge, and hot plate. There were also a few dishes to use and a small kitchen sink. The only real negative was the room smell – since it’s an older building, there is a ‘damp’ smell that lingers. Overall, great staff & a good budget stay! I would stay again.

"Excellent Tokyo hotel"
Great area. Fantastic lobby/exterior presentation. Wifi was poor in or room but we were given a separate router which sorted it all out perfectly. Very comfortable bed. Bigger than standard Tokyo room. Superb location for three metro stations. Perfect Tokyo visitor hotel. A little gem.

"Palace Studio Roppongi East II cozy apartment"
Stayed at Palace Studio Roppongi East II 11 days. We were very happy with the place, especially cleanliness, and would not hesitate to come back. Close to main crossing in Roppongi and Roppongi hills. Small but cozy. All appliances in good condition. Great place to stay in Tokyo. A few minor comments to improve on: The pickup-code for the apartment key got lost in communication with expedia. Phonecall fixed it but should be not necessary. Rental contracts should be better tendered to expedia / short term. The instructions do not reflect rental that has been prepaid. The ventilation socket should be better insulated, it's creating a draft.
