Our stay in Tok

Posted 24-Aug-2017
Enjoy our stay in the rooming log cabin, however it was listed as and inn, but when we arrived at the address listed, we saw that it was a B&B. Fortunately we arrived when the manager was just driving up and explained to us it was both a B&B and an inn. She had us follow her back into town to a single log cabin where we stayed. It was very nice but confusing.

Thank you for your review. Sorry about the confusion. At first we listed seperately but that sadly caused even more confusion.

Very Clean and Friendly

Posted 15-Aug-2017
Pros: Very clean and easy to deal with
Location: Well its TOK not really much to do that had applied to us. We needed a bed for the night and thats what we got.
We stayed here twice while on our trip on motorbike to Fairbanks and Anchorage and back. The first time we stayed in a room within the B & B and it was a great room with a balcony and private bathroom. I never (or very seldom) bath in hotels but I felt here it was very clean so I did have a bath after a long day on the bike. Breakfast in the morning was awesome and tasty. Whatever was asked of Maggie never seemed to be a problem. Was very accommodating and friendly. The second night we stayed in the cabin on the highway and it was awesome!! Cute place for sure. It too was clean, had some dishes in there, coffee pot and all the fixings. Wifi was great. Highly recommend either of these places.

Nice place

Posted 09-Aug-2017
I know this was a B&N type place but air conditioning would have made my stay perfect.

Stayed at the cabin not the hotel

Posted 04-Aug-2017
Pros: Luxury private cabin just for us
Cons: Instructions...
Location: Cabin is just past the Visitor Center, very close to Grocery store.
We found the hotel only after stopping by at Visitor Center to ask about it. It is not on main road but in a very quiet secluded location. I instantly loved the place from the outside. Came in, and the lady told us to drive to the cabin. At first I was a bit disappointed that I had to drive somewhere but the cabin was AWASOME! Like 5+ stars awesome! It was just 2 of us, but the cabin sleeps 5 or 6. The price is more affordable if you have 5-6 people I'd say, but we really enjoyed our stay! Has full kitchen, bathroom, living room you name it.

Comfy place to stay

Posted 24-Jul-2017
Pros: Comfy bed, nice balcony
Cons: Maybe a Keurig coffee maker for those who are early risers to have a cup of coffee and have those breakfast bags available.
Room was nice, bed was comfy, bathroom was well stocked and clean. We only spent one night but only saw a person associated with the B&B for about 5 minutes. We were told if we wanted to leave before the 8am breakfast that to go Continental breakfast bags would be available. There weren't any available.

Thank you for your review. I myself was not available or there would have been to go bags. The Coffee makers are usually set for 7 am but if someone leaves earlier and likes coffee all they need to do is to push the start button. I sincerely apologize and will have a word with my staff. I hope some day I will be able to make it up to you,

Cozy, Clean and Quiet

Posted 17-Jun-2017
Pros: The peaceful surroundings away from traffic noises and the wonderful breakfast.
A bumpy gravel road leads to this charming B&B in a wooded surrounding, off the Alaska Hwy, mile 1316, just NW from the Tok Cut-Off junction. Our cozy room was on the second floor and had two comfortable beds and a full bath just off the hallway. With limited WIFI and not being interested in any TV offerings, we enjoyed the beautiful covered balcony overlooking the backyard and the forest, relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening (we arrived before the mosquitoes did... :) We stayed for two nights. Each morning we were treated to a scrumptious home-cooked breakfast, unlimited coffee and juice, all lovingly prepared by the owner, Maggie, with the help from her sweet little granddaughter. The lively conversations with fellow guests made the time fly by too quickly. We can highly recommend the charming Mooseberry B&B.

Mooseberry Cabin, a pleasant surprise

Posted 08-Jun-2017
Pros: Comfy beds, quiet and clean room. Amenities like free coffee, room fridge and very nice bathroom.
Cons: The ceiling fan was inoperative.
We arrived at the B&B to find a note with our name taped to the main entrance. It informed us that we were staying in a separate cabin near the center of town. It was spacious, comfy and well equipped. Never got to meet any of the staff or see the main facility. We would stay there again.
