Amazing
This hotel provides fantastic service. I was initially a little bit worried about the japanese style room (no beds) but it was comfortable. Their spa was clean and more spacious than what I expected. There are several tubs outside as well, which was really cool. The food was amazing. The breakfast and dinner were served in a private room. The best part was that the room had a riverview and we could open the window. We left the windows open throughout the night and the sound of the river was really surreal.

Beautiful Japanese hotel
This was a great experience of a traditional Japanese ryokan. The half-board with breakfast and dinner was amazing. Lots of excellent, traditional Japanese food. It was also within walking distance of the temples and shrines in Nikko. There is a road separating the river from the hotel, but the hotel still has a great view.

A Japanese Dream vacation
My wife and I are are American Tourist in our early 60's We got to the hotel at 11:30 AM, exhausted and suffer from jet lag. We found that (1) almost no one spoke any english, (2) no one is allowed in the rooms until 3:00 PM, (3) we could not exchange cash or credit for Japanese Yen. The location was great - right across from the Temples - but it was pouring rain. We finally got to our room - but there are no beds! We found the mats and traditional mattresses, piled them in the middle of the floor, and wen to sleep by 6 PM. No internet access in the rooms. The other Japanese gust appears to have a great time and the breakfast was fantastic. There was one hotel staff who took me down beyond the train station to the 7-Eleven, which was the only place were one could get Yen. Nikko was very interesting, and there were may foreigners, but everything was in Japanese and only a few people spoke a little english and all instructions were in Japanese.

Weekend relaxation away from the hustle and bustle
Nikko is a sleepy town, but that will come in handy for many visitors weary of the pace adopted in Tokyo. A day trip will be sufficient to see Nikko as there is not much to see - however if you want to relax, this is a good hotel to stay a night in.

Un excellent ryokan
J’ai profiter d’une nuit à Nikkō pour réserver dans ce ryokan et c’était parfait. Le personnel était très accueillant, la chambre spacieuse, la vue magnifique, les bains très agréables avec un jardin de contemplation très joli. Le dîner et le petit déjeuner étaient parfait, un vrai savoir-faire avec une multitude de spécialités de la préfecture de Tochigi, un bonheur à chaque bouchée ! Je reviendrai avec plaisir !

部屋からは川と山が見られて紅葉の時期は最高に綺麗な景色だと思います。夕食時の間にお布団を敷いてくれる予定でしたが忘れられていてフロントにお願いして敷いてもらいました。ご飯も広いお部屋で隣の方と十分な距離がありパーテーションもありゆっくりと食事が出来ました。

素晴らしい滞在でした

Accueil parfait et emplacement idéal
Service exceptionnel : le personnel est parfait et la nourriture est excellente. Il y a aussi un onsen très agréable. L’hotel n’est pas très joli extérieurement mais il est très bien placé (10 minutes à pied des temples)

東照宮観光には最適な立地
お部屋も広々として快適でした。お食事は夕食、朝食共に個室でいただきました。量も丁度いいし、とても美味しかったです。東照宮に近いので立地はとても良いです。車を置かせて頂き観光することができました。 お風呂には部屋番号のついた下駄箱があり、草履の取り違えもないので安心です。 お部屋のキーも二つあり便利でした。売店での買い物もお部屋に付ける事が出来たので、お風呂上がりにふらっと買い物もできました。静かで快適に過ごす事ができました。 また日光に行く機会があれば利用したいと思います。

東照宮に近くて便利
東照宮至近で、良かった。 スタッフは周辺のお店にも詳しかった。 料理は部屋食では無かったけれども、プライベート感のある個室での提供だったので、良かった。 食事の量は男性でも十分な量だった。 温泉も清潔でジャグジーも楽しめた。

日光の気の利いたホテル
母からの紹介で一泊滞在しました。 当日は早く着いたので、車をホテルに置いて東照宮に行きました。ホテルの方の対応も良く駐車場を利用できました。また東照宮に近く良いロケーションでした。チェックインも早めだったのですが準備できたところで案内してもらえました。 食事は部屋食でした。スタッフは忙しそうでしたが手際よく準備していただけました。 風呂は露天風呂もありゆったりできました。また是非利用したいと思いました。
