The house itself was lovely, warm, and welcoming — very clean and clearly well cared for. We especially appreciated how relaxing and private the setting was. Dave was an amazing and attentive host, always responsive and thoughtful. He even left a wonderful welcome surprise in the fridge with orange juice, milk, bagels, and a great selection of coffee pods — such a kind gesture that made us feel right at home. The beds were a bit smaller and not quite as comfortable as we’re used to, but everything else made up for it. The property, location and communication were all truly exceptional and that is high praise coming from a life long hotel exec. My husband and I stayed with our 3 adult children, our 3 year old grandson and their two fur kids. We were so pleased with the serenity of the private beach area and the comfort of the outdoor deck that we debated not venturing into Newport and staying anchored at the property. Beds are comfortable, the house was spotless and equipped with everything we needed, which is again high praise from someone who cooked every meal at the property for the group.
