First class accommodation with a warm welcome
My wife and I enjoyed a two night stay at Ardoran House. Richard organised for us to be collected from the ferry pier at no cost. We were made to feel very welcome and Richard was attentive to every detail to make our stay enjoyable. The premises were modern, very clean and comfortable. We were welcomed with a glass of wine at 6.00pm and enjoyed two excellent breakfasts during the stay. I would highly recommend a visit to Ardorran house.

Absolutely perfect stay. Richard is so helpful, and Sarah is an amazing chef and gets you to the boat on time. The house is gorgeous, and the owners are terrific. I absolutely recommend!!!

Richard went out of his way to ensure that everything was just right for our stay. He was pleasant as well as professional. Our room in Adoran House was comfortable with a beautiful outlook over the Sound of Iona.

A beautiful place to escape to.
This is a beautiful establishment well run by Richard. Beautifully located on the beach but a little out of the way which means peace and quiet which you would want on Iona

Best b&b stay
Property was clean and lovely. Richard was one of the highlights of my trip. He was so lovely, helpful when i had logistical challenges and great fun to be around. I told him i dont drink alcohol so he brought me a non alcoholic glass of wine when i was in the hot tub. Breakfast was lovely too. I will be returning!

We had a lovely stay in Iona. Ardoran House was very nice. Richard was wonderful. He even picked some seeds from his garden to give to me. We can recommend this B&B!

There was nothing about this property that we didn't like. Richard was a wonderful host and he went out of his way to make our stay as welcoming and comfortable as it could be. The location of the house was perfect and the views serene. The yummy breakfast was extensive and varied. I want to go back.

Proprietor is very welcoming. It was pouring rain when we arrived so he called a friend and we were picked up near the ferry. Some of the rooms look out to sea toward the Isle of Mull, but I enjoyed our view of sheep and Highland coos dotting the hillsides.

Glorious Time
It was fabulous, trip of a life time and staying at the Ardora Bed and Breakfast made it perfect. We could have not been more pleased from the delicious breakfasts cooked to our desire to the hospitality of a who were with us each day. A safe, secure place away for home that we could simply relish in. We will return.

In town but far enough from the center to be quiet and peaceful. Easy walk to everything. GREAT food and GREAT people.

Nice home away from home. But, way overpriced
Single beds very small & uncomfortable. Bed Covers minimal to cover whole body. Unusual odour in bathroom. For price you pay, should at least have double bed. Over priced for what you get. One positive, you get picked/dropped off from ferry. But so close, hardly adds anything to make up for overpricing. Cost should include dinner. Walking 20min to eateries in the dark, cold & rain not pleasant. Also, first night they were all booked out, so no dinner for me.

Wonderful hotel, great location
Spectacular hotel, right on the coast, easy walk from the ferry. Rooms, views, guest space and breakfast all we could want and more. Checkin could be improved.

Beautiful Isle of Iona
Ardoran House is very well situated overlooking the water and a short walk to the town. It was quiet and restful and the house itself is most beautifully decorated. The host is charming and helpful. Our room overlooked the bay and was spacious and contained everything we needed. We had a beautiful breakfast of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon and the dining room felt like being in one's own home. All together, a lovely experience and I wished we could have stayed for more than one night.

Lovely Guesthouse, 5*
A1 stay in a guesthouse run by an ex-hotel inspector. Richard knows his stuff and this was the nicest stay we had in our entire trip. I work in tourism so I'm not over-egging it, this must surely be the finest accommodation on Iona, and most likely, all of the Inner Hebrides.
