"This was an unplanned stop on our family road trip. We booked it for the pool and positive ratings.
The pool photos are misleading. The pool roof appeared to be retractable, but it had holes in it, like big holes from a bad storm. There also was no hot tub and the temperature of the water was chilly.
Other than that we had a positive experience. The breakfast options were typical, the rooms were quiet and clean. The check in staff were incredibly nice. They were busy with wildfire evacuees.
We would stay here again."
"John was an amazing host, he sat and talked construction with my husband which was a win/win. This property was so much more than advertised! Highly recommend!!"
"If saving $60 per night is important to you, this is your place. There was another person's hair on my pillow. Sheets seemed clean. The brown ring in the toilet, I'm pretty sure, was not a stain but had not been cleaned in a long time. The smell in the room was putrid. We turned the fan on and opened the window all night to air it out. Did everything work? Yep. Did the bed sleep well? Yep. Am I glad I saved $60? Absolutely. The level of bad was not worth spending $60 more to upgrade hotels."
"Our 2nd stay here and always kind staff! Super accommodating the first room staff showed had some cigarette smell and I asked if we could do a different room and she was super helpful! Always clean! Big rooms!"
Welcome to your ultimate mountain escape at the base of a beautiful canyon.
10/10 Excellent
"This was a good property to use as a home base for our family reunion of grandparents, parents, and grandchildren. Our grandchildren ranged from 5 to 11 and all of them found things to do in and out of the house in addition to our planned activities. We especially enjoyed the large Great room, kitchen area with a extra large table which worked well for both eating and art activities. Plenty of room for everyone to be together. The basketball hoop and cement pad was also a favorite."
