People smoking at the door to go in… Dirty towel when i arrived. Horrible blankets. Dirt streaks running down the door handle. Ice machine makes a lot of noise. TV was complicated to figure out. Will never stay there again. Wasn’t worth the price

The property has been renovated and was very nice. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast area is extremely small. Only hot options are either toaster items or microwave items. It was fine for a single person but not good for families.

Like the location but the heater was very dirty, there was coffee in morning but no cups and worker was too busy on phone to get any. Room door didn't close well as it was rubbing and was very loud.

Great first coat of paint. The rest needs a second coat. Drywall dust in corner of the room. Even after talking to staff we had one channel to choose from on our television because whoever installed the cable didn’t do it properly. We even lost reception when we opened and closed drawers. Finally, and most concerning, is that even after staff was alerted to a very wobbly, possibly dangerous table in the eating area nothing was done about it. It stayed there throughout out stay…4 days. The staff response to me was, “of yes, we are aware of it!” An accident and possible lawsuit and nobody does anything about it…that is irresponsible.

I like it here. It's not complicated, parking is good, East Side Mario's in the same parking lot, breakfast options open before 6 for contractors which is rare, overall the best value in Timmins. I've stayed at them all. If you want a fancy room, you'll pay double, and for what? This place is the most decent for under $200 for sure.

it is an old property . Room smelt like no smoking policy was implemented couple days ago. the bed was terrible … mattress sags in middle … very old and worn out. will not stay there again

The smell of smoke in the room was bad, we did not think that now a days we would have to deal with that smell. The toilet wasn't install properly evertime tou sat on it, it would rock.

Poorly renovated
The room was poorly renovated. The door did not have a lock on top so we could not properly lock our door. The window area looked like there was water damage and was sagging down. Was disappointed would of complained but checked in, didn’t check the room, left for supper and when we returned late that’s when we seen all the problems. Would not stay again.

The hotel staff were excellent. The thing I didn’t like is the carpet in the room they were gross, you can smell them as soon as you walked into the room and walking bare feet on carpet felt gross. There’s no elevator so pain to carry all my bags up to the second floor.

My spouse sat on the couch in the room for quite a while and had many many bites on him on all areas of the body that would have touched the couch. I did get a few bites but did not sit on the couch for long. I believe they must have been bed bugs. We thoroughly checked out possessions for bugs, shook everything out and left items outside and washed everything right away etc. This property must really be infested for us to get that many bites. The hotel had to have known.

The adjacent rooms were noisy and kept me awake till 1230am. I called the front desk and they did stop the noise. When I mentioned it at check out, the person said, “well hope you sleep better tonight”. I expected more than a glib answer.
